18- alone time

A/N wow okie so this story now has 5k views.....uhm.....why? Like.....do y'all need help? Cuz I know I sure do. But anyway, if you are reading this I'm hoping that this means you respect mah ship which makes me incredibly happy because everyone I know that has watched bnha hates DabiDeku for some reason. Well um anyway this chapter contains Izuku and Dabi as a couple which you all probs wanted to see so like you're welcome❤️

Dabi POV

I was sitting on the couch in the hideout, all alone, completely bored. I used to love and treasure my alone time so much because that meant getting away Toga and Yozora for once. They can be so annoying sometimes. Actually, a lot of the time. But now I actually feel lonely. I just got back from some villai- I mean hero work and Toga, Yozora, and Izuku are still at the mall. It's no question as to why I feel this way, it's obvious to me.

Sure, other people might try to avoid the fact at first if their relationship was as new as ours, but I didn't need to avoid it. I knew, that the reason I feel this way, the reason I've been in a better mood lately, am more easygoing and energetic, the reason I actually find myself smiling every once in a while -and not one of those intimidating sinister smiles- is all because of Izuku. My bunny. Heck, who am I kidding? 'Smiling every once in a while'. Nah, I smile just about every time I think about that adorable broccoli boy. Which means I smile a lot.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door opening and laughter. I looked up to see Yozora, Toga, and Izuku all laughing with each other.

"Man, we got them so good!" Toga said wiping a tear from her eye that was caused by her laughter.

"Got who?" I asked. They better not have done anything villainous around Izuku. And especially not with Izuku.

"Oh! Hey Dabi!" Toga said once she noticed me.

"Oh no! Yozora, remember that thing that we had to go to? Look at the time, we're gonna be late! Sorry Izuku, I guess we won't get to help you decorate your room. But~...... Dabi could help you!"

Wow. That was smooth. I would normally get mad at her for this type of thing, but I'm honestly completely fine with it considering I get to spend some alone time with my bunny. I might even be a bit thankful for this stunt that Toga pulled. But it's not like I'm ever gonna tell her that, then she'll just continue to pull stunts without my permission. So instead I just scowled at her. She seemed pleased by my reaction, obviously she loves it when I get annoyed by her.

"U-uh w-well if you really have to go somewhere than I guess that would be fine" Izuku blushed and started giggling nervously.

"Great! Sorry again." And with that Toga and Yozora were gone in a flash.

"How about I help you take your bags to your room?" I asked Izuku.

"O-Okay. Thanks"

After we finished moving the bags into Izuku's room, he started separating all of the room decor from the rest of the stuff he got. He put the rest of the stuff in his closet so he could deal with it later, and just focus on decorating for now. When he was done he looked up to see me plopped down on his bed. Then he blushed even more. I really wish that he felt more comfortable around me, but this might be a good chance to fix that.

I sat down on the floor next to him and looked through the bags.

"Wow, you got quite a lot of stuff."

"There are more bags over there" he said pointing to about 12 more bags.

"Oh. Well then, you really got a lot of stuff". He looked down in embarrassment and I brought the rest of the bags over and started looking through them.

"Uh Izuku.....what are these?"

"Fairy lights"

"And why are six of these bags completely filled with them?"

"Hey! You're reacting just like Toga and Yozora when they told me to 'stop buying so many'. They are really cool and I really like them." He pouted and crossed his arms in front of him. How is he so adorable?

"Well if you really like them, I think they're wonderful" I chuckled a bit when his facial expression changed to one of shock and embarrassment.

"There's also a bunch of green leafy shit"

"Oh! You must mean the plants and vines. They are part of the aesthetic I'm going for"

"Okay.......what do you want to start with?" I asked him.

"Um.....h-how about we decorate m-my bed first?"

"Sounds good to me"

"Great! I have a new bedding and some pillows in those bags over there"

I went over to look at the bags he was pointing to and there were not some pillows.

"Shit Izuku, there are like 20 pillows."

"There were just so many that were so cute and I couldn't choose so I'll just store a few of them away and switch them out."

God, this kid really knows how to get into this whole decorating thing. This is going to be a long day. But as long as it is spent with my bunny, I'm fine with that.
