Maura's PoV

"Finish your lunch Steven and I'll take a look at your lip." I sigh watching Jane leave

"What was that about?" Sam asks "she seemed to be ok when you guys got back."

"Was she ok Maura?" Mark asks as Steven just looks between us all

"She was annoyed you made her leave, but she was ok. Right now though, I have no idea what she's thinking or feeling. I would think this week might be a little up and down more than normal, hopefully she will have a good time tonight" I smile weakly at them

"I forgot to ask! Where did she take you on your date!" Steven asks excitedly before his face falls looking at Mark

"Steven, it's ok, I am aware where you have been staying, and it's fine." Mark smiles at him clearing Steven's worries away before turning to face me

"She took you on a date!?" He exclaims smiling at me

"Yes and it was amazing, Jane only went and chartered a yacht, which took us out of the harbour, and we had an amazing three course meal, danced on the deck under the stars it was perfect, she thought about everything" I can't help but smile

"That's so romantic and dreamy!" Steven sighs where as Sam is giving me a look which tells me he wants more details.

I'm going to take a page out of Jane's book next week and find out if there's anything for my department being brought up in the meeting because this is simply a pointless meeting that I seem to be sat in. At least I currently have Steven and Sam messaging me in a group chat that Steven made up keeping me entertained even though Jane hasn't accepted the group invite yet.

Ste is picking up other instruments fast He is like Jane it's weird! - Sam

Well she's been teaching him and it seems to come natural to him - Maura

Nope her doors shut Sam said that means to leave her alone so... - Steven

Everything, very scatty with what she's playing though I can't work out where she's at M, you want me to check on her it's gone quiet- Sam

No it's ok leave her, I'll be down soon I think he's finishing up if he doesn't soon I'm going to excuse myself!! - Maura

Acoustic guitar and it's loud!! She's flicked the mics on! - Sam

I can hear her playing from up here - Maura

I smile hearing the riffs filtering through the corridors

"Well it would appear we have music to finish the meeting off to" Mark chuckles whilst he winds the meeting down

Doors open, wide open but we haven't gone over she looks like she's not there?!- Steven

As Mark opens the door allowing us to leave everyone seems to stop when Jane's voice carries through the corridors
