Jane's Pov

I had everything set up and ready to go, the guys were running through the songs as quietly as they possibly could, my phone had been continuously going off from the other faculty members informing me that they were going to be there and are letting their classes out just before the bell. Mark was catching up with Frost as I stood talking to Nina.

"Nervous?" she asks smiling away at me 

"Kinda i guess but that's normal right.." I trail off when I see my Ma making her way across the field towards us

"Jane are you ok?"

"huh oh yeah.. that's my ma.. I saw her earlier we have a lot to discuss next session Nina.. anyway im going to go get ready the bell will ring in a few minuets" I inform her to go and pick my guitar up. I can feel her eyes on me, watching intently trying to figure it all out before I can even speak to her properly next week. 

Maura's PoV

"Seriously Steven slow the hell down!" I can't help but snap at him

"Nope " He grins at me shoving his phone back into his pocket trying to pull me across the parking lot towards the bleachers, its then that I hear it the sound of a guitar and drums filtering across the field followed by the husky mesmerizing voice that I love.

Janes voice softly singing Think im in love - Beck

It seems the whole school is gathered out on the field watching her its only when they back up creating a path for me to walk through do my eyes fall on to the bleachers either side, every row has been filled with roses and orchids. A smile instantly reaches my eyes as the fall onto Jane who is giving me her shy smile as she continues to sing, falling into one song to the next. 

Glancing around do I actually realise that shes got the guys playing with her. As well as Frost, Nina and her mother being amounst the crowd at the front its then do I wonder exactly how long she's been planning this little concert. Taking in Mrs Rizzoli's expression its hard to determine what shes feeling as the tears rolls down her cheeks watching Jane playing, knowing that she was very controlling in what ever she played when she was a lot younger.

"So you are all probably wondering what's going on... well all will be reveiled but first I would like you all to join in with this next song for Doctor Isles, then I have one more song and you'll find out whats going on" Janes husky voice rings out through a mic that I hadn't realised was one she was wearing.

I cant help but laugh and dip my head down shaking it once they begin to play and everyone sings happy birthday. Looking up at Jane once she had finished she winks at me whilst drinking some water holding it out to Steven as he steps forward dropping a straw into it standing back slightly after she nods at what ever he said to her, allowing her to continue to play. Her voice coming in softly, never taking her eyes off me

All of these lines across my face

Janes voice rang out stronger and raspier

As she played the bridge I understand now why Ste was stood up near her as he held the bottle forward for her to drink and to not stop playing
