16th League: Nahuhulog
Iris's friends were talking about her debut.
She tried requesting for just a simple debut but her parents wanted it to be the fanciest.
"I'm so excited talaga for your debut, Iris. For sure there will be a lot of celebrities that will be attending. At siguradong lahat ng bisita are from elite clans," wika ni Alex.
"I know right. Do you have the list na ba?" Yuri asked Iris.
"Nothing's completely set so pull your cool together, ladies," she answered.
"Ryland's gonna be there for sure. Tapos 'yong mga cousins mo from your dad's side, right?" komento ni Elerie.
"Right, si Kuya Tracey at Kuya Gray lang naman. Kuya Carlisle's on the list, too," Iris said.
Bigla niyang naisip ang kuya niya. That would be very awkward, to dance with her brother.
Apart from that, Travis wasn't somebody who likes fancy party. She thought he'd reject her.
She blinked twice before realizing that Travis was standing just a few meters away from her. She immediately stood up and approached him.
"Travis!" she called before looking at Donny who was with Travis now.
Travis was wearing a simple, navy blue polo shirt and washed out jeans. His long hair was messily tied in a man bun. And his emerald eyes were sparkling as direct sunlight hit it.
"Iris..." Matamang tinitigan ng binata si Iris.
"I see you've fixed your schedule already," she said, smiling at him.
"Oo, kahapon lang," tugon ng binata.
"Ms.
"That's fine. I didn't do much. I only told him the bar was hiring," wika ni Iris.
May kanta si Travis. Wala rin namang pasok bukas, eh." Siniko ni Travis ang kaibigan.
"Ano ka ba, Donny? Busy si Iris," Travis told him, feeling shy.
Iris thought it was a good idea. She wanted to see Travis singing on stage.
"I'm not busy. I'll come," she told them.
"Hindi naman pala busy, pre. Siniko mo pa 'ko," saad ni Donny.
Travis couldn't help smiling. The thought of Iris going to his gig made him so happy. He cleared his throat and looked away.
"I-Ikaw ang bahala," ani Travis.
"Sure. I'll be there. Sige, see you later," Iris said.
