55th League: Worthless
TRAVIS WAS in the middle of their rehearsal when he was called by a staff member. He was told that somebody wanted to talk to him outside. He thought it was somebody important because there was no way someone would be allowed to interfere him from his rehearsal.
"Sino raw?" tanong ni Travis.
"Carlisle Jang daw, Sir.
He wasn't expecting Carlisle to approach him all of a sudden. But he endured it. Kahit masakit.
"Mr. Jang..." tawag ni Travis. Hindi ito lumingon.
"You're back... and popular," Carlisle said, still facing the outside.
"Ano pong kailangan n'yo?" Travis asked. He tried so hard to compose himself. He was so intimidated.
"Say... why are you back? What do you need? In short, why are you troubling my sister again?" Carlisle asked, facing him now.
"Yes. I know what you did seven years ago. I had you investigated. Did you really think you can just show up one day to reconcile with my sister?
That was it. He was silenced. He was guilty. How could he rebut?
"Just this morning, my sister told me that she will be inviting you to dinner. In. Our. House. My parents were just too kind to just let her. After what you did to my sister, kakapalan na lang siguro ng mukha kung magpakita ka pa sa bahay, 'di ba?
"I'm sorry for the harsh words, Mr. Falcon, but I hope you understand. I'm Iris's brother and I don't want her to be associated with someone like you. What more can you do? Iris is just too unlucky to fall in love with you," mahinahong sabi ni Carlisle.
It was killing him. It was the truth. Anong kaya niyang sabihin?
"You have a sister, Mr. Falcon. You wouldn't want her to experience what you did to my sister, right? I really thought that when you became so successful... like right now, you'll stop bothering my sister. But you're one heck of a guy, Travis Falcon. What do you want me to do for you to leave Iris alone?" Carlisle asked.
"M-Mahal ko po si Iris. Nagkamali po ako noon pero—"
"Nagkamali ka pa rin. Be it an accident or not, you still did my sister wrong. Ayaw mo siyang tantanan. I want you away from my sister. Ryland has never treated my sister like you did.
"I don't care if you are Tito Wendell's son. I just don't like you for my sister. Stay away from my sister or I will make your life a living hell. Do you understand, Mr. Falcon?
"I know you understand me. I'll go ahead. Do not disappoint me, Mr. Falcon," ani Carlisle bago naglakad palayo.
