19th League: Revelations
"NO WAY, Dad! Paano niya nagawa 'yon?" naluluhang tanong ni Iris.
"It is not our business, Iris. Please, keep your promise. 'Wag kang makikialam," mariing wika ni Mr. Jang.
"Pero, Dad..." Iris cried.
"I know your intention is pure, honey. But it's not for us to handle. Listen to me, anak. Stop crying." Mr. Jang wiped his daughter's tears.
She was frustrated. She felt like she had to do something but she knew her father was right. It was not and never will be her business. The best thing she could do was to keep her ass off someone else's problem.
She couldn't keep her mind off the revelation she was just made aware of. Ryland probably knew about it. How about that person? Did he know about it? Because of all people, he was the very person who deserved to hear the truth.
Wendell Ferrer was Travis's father.
The resemblance of Travis's smile to Ryland's. It took her awhile to notice that because Travis had facial hair.
She was taken aback when she saw those eyes.
Dapat ay hindi siya makialam sa mga nangyayari but her instinct just wanted otherwise, she had to at least do something. Her friends were calling her but she left nonetheless.
She stayed there, waiting for Travis. She was feeling uneasy.
When she saw Travis jogging his way towards her, mas lalo lamang siyang hindi napalagay.
"Iris, bakit ka napatawag? May problema ba?" Travis asked.
"Travis, let's cut classes. I need to talk to you. Please," Iris said.
"H-Ha? T-Teka... Iris was the least person he had in his mind cutting classes.
"Anywhere... Please." Travis looked at Iris thoroughly. He felt how bothered the lady was.
Iris was just quiet the whole time.
"Travis... Tell me," ani Iris bago ito biglang naluha.
"Tell me, Travis.
