MAGKASAMANG UMUWI ng Maynila sina Travis at Iris pero hindi sila nagsabay sa arrival ng airport sapagkat ito ang nais ng dalaga. They had not figured out anything yet to work on their relationship. Kaya mas minabuti na lang ni Iris na huwag munang maging exclusive ang pagkikita nila ni Travis.

Of course, Travis didn't like the idea but he couldn't do anything. Iris wanted it. Wala siyang ibang choice kung hindi ang sumunod sa gusto ng taong mahal niya.

Nang makauwi si Iris sa bahay, inabutan niyang nag-uusap ang Kuya Carlisle at dad niya. She was a little nervous approaching them. Gayunpaman, mainit pa rin ang naging pagsalubong sa kaniya ni Mr. Jang.

"How was your flight, sweetie? Did you enjoy your one-week leave?" masayang tanong ni Mr. Jang.

"Of course, she did, Dad. We couldn't even reach her because she was having the time of her life. Masaya siyang nagpapakatanga kasama ang Travis na 'yon," galit na utas ni Carlisle.

"Kuya—"

"'Wag mo 'kong makuya-kuya kung hindi ka naman marunong sumunod sa 'kin, Iris. Do you know how worried I was?"

"Carlisle, your sister's just arrived. Let her rest first," Mr. Jang said. Nagsimula nang magtubig ang mga mata ni Iris.

"Kuya, I'm sorry but I love him," Iris cried out.

"That's bullshit, Iris! Niloko ka niya! Tapos, babalik siya as if nothing happened? Jarara, Iris! Babocheoreom haengdonghaji masipsio!" singhal ni Carlisle.

(Grow up, Iris! Don't act like a fool!)

"What are you saying, Carlisle?" Mr. Jang asked.

Walang nakakaalam sa tunay na nangyari kanina Iris at Travis. Hindi alam ni Iris kung paano nalaman ng kuya niya ang tungkol sa kanila pero hindi naman imposible iyon kung pinaimbestigahan nito ang nangyari.

"Travis had sex with another woman, Dad! I pretended not to know about it because I respected her decision to hide it. But it seems like your daughter doesn't even have self-respect herself," Carlisle said.

"Iris, is that true?" tanong ni Mr. Jang kay Iris.

"D-Dad... mahal ko siya," hagulgol ni Iris.

"But sweetie, he's done something like that. How sure are you that it won't happen again in the future?" malumanay na saad ni Mr. Jang. Galit ito sa kaniyang nalaman pero pinili nitong magpakahinahon dahil may pinagdadaanan ang kaniyang anak.

"Dad, I love him. And I know he loves me, too. I know he made a mistake in the past but no one in this world is perfect. He deserves a second chance," tugon ni Iris.

"A second chance for what? To make a fool out of you again?" Carlisle commented.

"Kuya, I know you're just trying to protect me. I appreciate everything that you've done for me these past seven years but let me do this on my own. I am not perfect, Kuya. I'm not even sure if accepting Travis will be a good or bad decision pero kung magkamali man ako, I'll take full responsibility of my foolishness," umiiyak na pahayag ni Iris.

"You're acting ridiculous, Iris," nanginginig na wika ni Carlisle. Umiiyak na niyakap ni Iris ang kapatid niya.

"I'm sorry, Kuya. I love you and I've always respected you. But please, this time, let me do this alone," Iris cried while hugging her brother.

Tila nanlambot si Carlisle. He wanted to protect his sister from experiencing what he had experienced in the past. It was his responsibility to protect her but why couldn't anybody understand his point? Regardless, he didn't want to see his sister crying. He hugged her back to comfort her.
