Chapter 1 - Bites

Damn it.

I tumbled as a result of the kick I received and before I even end up rolling to the other side, I thrusted my katana to the ground and forced myself up. As I was about to charge at the suited man a few meters in front of me, I noticed a peculiar movement from my side. That's why I turned with my katana swinging.

Sa inis ko ay tinanggal ko yung isang kamay ko sa hilt para kuhain yung pocket knife ko. Walang pagdadalawang isip kong sinaksak sa bumbunan ng nasa likod ko yun.

Kitang-kita ko ang iritasyon sa mukha n'ya at nag-iba yung tingin n'ya. Mabilis akong lumingon sa likod ko kahit na alam kong naging abo na yung vampire na uminom ng dugo ko. Gusto kong magmura nang hindi pa sumisikat yung araw pero ayokong marinig nung isa kaya binalik ko na lang yung tingin ko.

I really need that sun to rise and burn these vampires to ashes.

It's annoying that I already expected these vampires to show up but with over hundreds of people quivering in fear and open to attacks with just me in this place? Idagdag pa na medyo nararamdaman ko na yung nawalang dugo sa akin. Damned spell.

I can't even wield my Curse as I please dahil sa bwisit na spell na naka-cast sa akin. At mas nakakabwisit pa na ni isa sa mga taong sinabihan kong pumunta dito sa Sardonyx ay hindi ko pa nakikita. Puro low ranked soldiers pa lang nakikita ko na pumapasok at nakikipaglaban sa vampires dito.

If it wasn't for the sunlight entering the arena, I could taunt him with more confidence. I want to slice his head pero hindi pwede. Bukod sa limited lang ang kaya kong gawin sa estado ng katawan ko ngayon ay First Class Vampire ang kaharap. They directly serve the Royal Class Vampires and catching them is the priority instead of killing.
