Chapter 45 - Michaelis

SENA

Hindi ako makahinga.

Pakiramdam ko nasa ilalim ako ng tubig kaso nang idilat ko yung mata ko, madilim. Hanggang sa hindi ko na nakaya at bumangon ako. Napapikit lang ako ulit dahil masakit sa mata yung tubig.

Tubig?

Para akong naestatwa nang may mapagtanto. Hindi ako sa tubig nakalubog. Sa dugo. Dugo ng tao.

Naramdaman ko yung panginginig ng bagang ko at parang tutulo na yung laway ko.

"You're awake at last, Senara."

My brows furrowed at the voice I heard from my left. Then two scoffs followed. I rubbed the blood off my eyes and once no blood was hindering me from opening my eyes properly, I finally saw where I am.

A luxurious bathroom. And I'm sitted at the bathtub filled with human blood which made the smell of the blood stronger. And I think I would've drooled if I didn't notice the three men standing by the door.

Impassiveness conquered my face as I recognized them. An oddly long haired Zelus, irritated-looking Layton, and Ronan with an unreadable smile.

Bigla naman akong nairita. Inangat ko yung mga braso ko at may suot pala akong dress na parang ang bigat na dahil basa.

"Otis! Is Senara's room ready?" Zelus asked authoritatively.

"I say, put the bitch in the dungeon. Hindi pa nga tayo sigurado kung gumana yung spell." Narinig kong sabi ni Layton.

"Don't call your older sister a bitch, Layton. Palalampasin ko 'to ngayon pero hindi na sa susunod."

Nagtuluy-tuloy yung pagtatalo nila pero ako nakatingin lang sa kamay kong balot na balot ng dugo. At hindi na ako nakatiis dahil dinala ko palapit sa labi ko yung kamay ko at dinilaan yung isang daliri ko na ikinatahimik nila.

"Are you even sure that this is blood?" Nakangiwing tanong ko matapos idura yung dugo.

Yun ang sinabi ko. Pero...sa totoo lang, kaya ko dinura yung dugo kahit na takam na takam ako ay parang hindi tama na inumin ko.

"Senara, what do you know?"

"Aside from your names and mine...that's all." Sagot ko matapos kong halukayin yung utak ko pero yun lang ang pumapasok sa isip ko.

"And what's your name?" Layton asked with a hostile expression.

"Senara Michaelis."

Bumakas ang gulat at tuwa sa mukha nila nang sabihin ko yun.

Something's not right.

Ilang araw na akong nandito pero hindi nagbabago yung pakiramdam ko na parang may mali. Iisa lang ang parang masaya na nandito ako, na si Zelus. Yung iba hindi mo malaman kung hindi ba ako papansinin o kaya iirapan lang.

Oddly enough, a lot of Royals are giving me looks that says they want to kill me. At nagtataka ako sa sarili ko dahil parang unang kita ko pa lang naman sa ibang Royal pero kilala ko sila.

Nora, Greil, Austin, Otis, Layton, Ronan, and Zelus. At hindi ko lang pinapakita pero, parang gusto kong gilitan si Zelus. Ewan, kahit na kinuwento n'yang ama ko s'ya at kapatid ko raw si Layton at Ronan.

All I know is that, something inside me's saying not to trust them and not to let them know what I really feel nor think. Despite being in this room, I could hear the talks of the Vampires outside and downstairs. Everyone was buzzing about wanting to see the 2nd Royal Class Vampire, which is me from what Zelus said.
