chapter twenty one

mackenzie's pov:

throughout the rest of the day, I was tormented by lily chee and her friends. as soon as the last bell rang I went to my locker and grabbed my things as fast as I could. I closed my locker and walked out of the building quickly. I ran home and went straight to my room.

my day was absolutely terrible. I've been taunted all day by lily chee and her friends. it started in the hallways where they pushed me around and then into class, when they were throwing things at me when the teacher wasn't looking.

I flopped onto my bed face down. what did I ever do to them? I rolled over and grabbed my phone. I unlocked it and opened instagram. it's been awhile since I've posted, maybe I should post something.

I clicked the post button and waited for it to upload. I set my phone down on my bed and walked into my bathroom. I cleaned up my bathroom and put things where they belong. I walked back into my room and cleaned up for a hour. my phone kept going off every 20 seconds. after awhile I silenced my phone. i finished cleaning up my room and turned over my phone. I put the ringer back on and opened instagram.

I read through the rest of the comments. I was being called many names. slut, hoe, whore, elephant, fat, ugly, bitch, worthless, piece of shit. I exited the app. I always got hate comments but not this many. what have I done to make everyone hate me? I let a tear roll down my cheek. I don't know if they're right or wrong. but I know one thing. I can't fight back...
