elle: "MOMMY?"

she ran into the living room.

maddie: "yes elle?"

i looked away from the tv.

elle: "can you tell me about aunt kenzie?"

she asked me curiously.

maddie: "come here".

elle walked over to me and i placed her on my lap.

maddie: "aunt kenzie was my younger sister. while growing up, i used to tell her stories about peter pan and neverland. i told you the same stories i once told her. when she was sixteen, she was in an accident while she was on the way to school. after that, she was a completely different person".

i looked down at elle.

elle: "what happened to her?"

i ran my fingers through her hair.

maddie: "she was going through a very rough time and she took herself away from us".

i said sadly.

elle: "where is she now?"

she smiled.

maddie: "she's with peter pan, she made her way to neverland".
