Charlie's POV:
Flashback
"Excuse me, I think you dropped your wallet." I said handing her wallet back.
"Oh, thank you." She smiled at me, taking her wallet back from my hand.
A couple of us campus buddies were going to the carnival. It was suppose to be a small group outing. But I guess Dave and the others has other ideas in mind. They invited more people, and then those people, invited more people. You get the idea.
"I am such a klutz sometimes." She said rolling her eyes and hitting her head.
"It's no problem." I said smiling.
"Well thank you so much, again, without my wallet I would probably had to head home and miss out on all the fun."
"You're welcome." I said still smiling, then I started to walk away, to go find where my hooligan friends are, when suddenly she shouted.
"Hey wait up." She said running up to me. "It's my first time here. And I was wondering.. If you could show me around, maybe we could grab a drink?" She said standing on tiptoe then back down again. Her face was all bright up. I couldn't resist. She's so beautiful, she could brighten the whole carnival. And she had made a move first. I mean I wanted to ask her out, but I thought she had a boyfriend. I mean someone as pretty as her? I guess she doesn't. Besides my friends are probably all drunk and are throwing up on the rides.
"Sure why not, I've got nothing else to do." I said smiling. Her smile got wider.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Charlie La- Randall, and you are?" I said, holding out my hand.
"Brittany Lear." Brittany said shaking my hand. "You're from McGill's?"
"Yeah, you must be too?"
"Yup." She nodded. Hmm.. Lear? I heard that name before. Oh right the Thomas Lear, from LearCorp. They're billionaires. So she must be his daughter. It's nice having someone who is like you.
"Well Charlie, let's go over there, that looks good." She said pointing at a small cafe. "Maybe after that you can show me the fun games and rides around here." She said wrapping her arms around my arm.

Mayleen's Pov:
"Hey Charlie, is that the girl the girl you were talking about?" I yelled out to him.
Last night we played 100 questions, until passed midnight. He told me why he came here. For a girl named Brittany, who apparantly lives right across from us. I never really paid attention to her until now. And now that I think about it, she's the same girl that I ran into the other day. The moody golden girl. (That's what I call her. But I can't tell Charlie, he'll get upset). He called her, his "true love." And I said 'right...' really long with a sarcastic tone. He didn't catch it.
Charlie walked from the kitchen to the window. "Where?" He asked looking around.
"Over there, golden hair, really pretty, perfect skin tone?" I said pointing to Brittany, who was watching TV while on a treadmill. Ok, that sounds sad. Why on earth would someone do something that is relaxing and fun, which is watching TV, and doing something so tiresome and boring, which is exercising, at the same time. I just don't get it.
"Yup that's her. Beautiful right?" He asked.
"Yeah, if you cut out the grumpy her." I said still looking through the window.
"What do you mean?" Charlie said, turning to look at me.
"Well remember yesterday, when we were racing?" I said turning to look at him. He nodded me to go on. "Well you remember that girl I said I bumped into? Yeah that's her. "
