Imagine:- Your father, Maxwell Roth, asks Jacob to assassinate you, but things turned out to be different.

"Are you sure you want me to do that?"

"Yes. I know it will be painful, but you have to kill her Jacob if you want to stop Starrick."

Jacob and Roth were discussing what Jacob had to do next since he started helping him for a while. Roth asked Jacob to kill his daughter, claiming that she is a spy for Starrick and also had something to do with the child labor. Jacob was so shocked to know that Roth was going to kill his daughter, it was ridiculous. But eventually, Jacob agreed and went to the location where Y/N, as he learnt her name, would be.

Short while later, Jacob reached to what looked like an orphanage. There was some kids playing around the building happily. Jacob watched carefully as a woman was in a middle of them, playing with the children. She was his target, but he somehow felt guilty about killing her. How can she do this to the children? She looked kind and nice, he had to know the reason before he bring her peace and free the children.

After the children got in their beds, Y/N went to her office to finish some paperwork. However, when she stepped inside, she felt something was wrong. Suddenly, she was pulled harshly inside the office and the door was locked. She looked behind and pulled out a hidden knife, she pointed it at him and said, "Who are you? What do you want?" Jacob chuckled, "Tough one, hm? I didn't know It would be difficult to dispose of you." Jacob said as he dashed toward her in an incredible speed. Y/N didn't know what just happened, the last thing she knew was the knife being thrown away as she was against the wall with a blade dangerously close to her neck.

"Why are you doing this to the children?"

Y/N frowned, not knowing what the bloody hell he was talking about. "What are you talking about? I did nothing to those kids aside from helping them and offering them a place to stay in." She said as she struggled to keep the blade away from her neck. "Don't lie! Your father said that you're Starrick's spy and that you give children to the factories for child labor." He said through gritted teeth. "My father? Spy? Child labor? I don't know what are you talking about exactly? What has father to do with all of this?" Y/N said with an angry face. "Yes your father and you know what I'm talking about, so don't play dumb on me." Jacob said.

"You believe what that man told you? He doesn't even consider me as his daughter anymore, he disowned me because I didn't want to be like him!!"

Jacob was shocked, he didn't even know what to do next, "Tell me everything!" Y/N nodded as Jacob stepped away from her.

"When I was young, my mother threw me to my father because she was about to get married and must hide her mistake since I was the daughter of the man she loved who happened to be father. At first, he didn't like me, he actually tried to get rid of me. However, he decided to use me when I became fourteen. He wanted me to be like him and do his dirty work, but I refused and escaped. He wanted to kill me and said that he no longer my father, that's why I hated him. I started to help the kids because I knew the feelings of being thrown away from my family." Y/N explained as she looked down to hide her rage toward Maxwell.

"This is not possible!" Jacob whispered which made Y/N look at him with bloodshot eyes, "He can't lie to me." Jacob said as he looked at Y/N. "If you don't believe me, it's your problem, but let me tell you that you will find yourself killing innocent" She said, putting her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry miss Roth, but I can't agree with you." Jacob apologized. "Give me time to proof my oughtness and if I was lying, you can kill me. And I told you he disowned me so just call me Y/N." She smiled as she shook his hand. "Pleasure to meet you Y/N, I'm Jacob Frye and just call me Jacob." He smiled and shook hers as well. Y/N smiled back and said,"Charmed!..." She cleared her throat and continued "...Anyway, tell that man to that you killed me so I can have a peaceful life and to give you the needed evidences."
