Marie sat down on the counter.

"We need to have a serious talk Marie." Billie said, instantly regretting his wording after seeing the fear in her eyes. "About drugs."

Marie couldn't pretend she didn't know what he was talking about, and this wasn't one of the conversations they could have sex and just avoid.

"I haven't even done drugs in a few days Billie! When we were high at the same time and almsot destoryed this god damn place."

"Cmere." Billie lifted her off the counter. "I wanna show you something. It's a surpise though."

"Do you not recall what happend last time you suprised me? We played a Ouija board."

"It'll be different this time."

"You wanna break into a record store?" Marie's eyes widened, reluctantly placing a cigerette in her mouth.

"Nah, I know the chick who runs it." Billie said, playing with the lock. "It'll be fine."

"Some old fling?" Marie walked in, searching through the Punk Rock records.

"Mike's actully. Name was Molly."

Marie changed the subject. "Hey, you heard of the new band? Good Charlotte?"

Billie nodded.

"Found one of their records here. We could listen to it if you want to." Marie tucked it close to her chest, along with a Sex Pistols record and a Dead Kennedy's one. "Oh right. We gotta have that talk."

"How about we get clean together." Billie approached Marie, pressing his forehead against hers. "I'll give up everything."

Marie smiled. "I don't have to give up smoking do I?"

Billie shook his head. "But everything else you're addicted to has to go. Exepct of course. Me, and rock n roll."

Marie wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you Billie Joe."

"I love you too doll. We got a deal then?"

Billie didn't get answer, Marie released her grip and made her way to the back of the store. "I got a surprise for you too. This song has always made me think of you. Ever since I heard Kerplunk for the first time."

Billie watched her curiously, as she picked up another record and put it on, the only voice Billie could really focus on was Marie's, although he had to admit, Joan Jett was almsot as good as her.

I saw him dancin' there by the record machine
I knew he must a been about seventeen
The beat was goin' strong
Playin' my favorite song
An' I could tell it wouldn't be long
Till he was with me, yeah me
An' I could tell it wouldn't be long
Till he was with me, yeah me, singin'

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

He smiled so I got up and asked for his name
That don't matter, he said
'Cause it's all the same
Said "Can I take you home where we can be alone?"
An' next we were movin' on
He was with me, yeah me
Next we were movin' on
He was with me, yeah me singin'

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

Said "Can I take you home where we can be alone?"
Next we're movin' on
He was with me, yeah me
And we'll be movin' on
An' singin' that same old song
Yeah with me, singin'

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

"Billie you can close your mouth now." Marie said to him.

"You've got the most beautiful voice in the world." Marie blushed at this compliment. "Pretty voice for a pretty lady."

Marie sat on his lap, kissing him. "Billie stop it!"

Noticing a women behind them, he had to.
