Pababa ako ng makarinig ako ng tawanan sa kusina. I immediately saw Mommy and Daddy laughing their asses off with Azi and Montefalco. Dad’s cooking and Mom’s just right beside him. Pareho silang tumatawa, they look genuinely happy.
Ang parents ko ang patunay na merong forever. I barely know their story. Basta ang sabi ni Mommy, they’ve had their journey to forever the hard way. And seeing them now, happy and so much in love, makes me believe that every love story is worth the trouble.
Kung makapagsalita naman daw ako, feeling expert sa love.
What do I know about love, right? I only had one serious relationship, and that was way back in fourth year high school.
Wow Gabby. Trip to the memory lane? Really?
“Good morning Mommy.” I kissed her cheek. “Good morning Dad.” I kissed Dad’s cheek.
“Good morning princess.” Sabi naman ni Daddy.
Yakap yakap lang ako ni Mommy. I turned to greet my brother. Pero naunahan na ko ng bestfriend niyang papansin.
“Good morning Gabby.” Sabi niya, with all smiles. Oo na gwapo ka na. Pacute pa more!
“Morning.” Sabi ko sakanya sabay bati sa kapatid kong busy sa pagsmile sa cellphone niya. Inagaw ko yung phone niya.
“So who’s this... Safrina Izobel?” I looked at him at nakita kong halos mahiya ang apple sa pula ng kakambal ko.
“We were just talking about that girl, princess.” Ani Daddy na medyo natatawa.
Inagawa ni Azi yung phone niya sakin. “Tss. Stop it. Tinitignan ko lang naman siya. No more. No less.”
She looks familiar.
Oh ofcourse she is. “That’s the girl you were hitting on last night, diba? Oh god. You are such a stalker Azi.” I said while laughing.
“Told you Tito. Yun yung kagabi pa niya pinopormahan.” Sabi naman ni Gab sabay nakipag-apir kay Daddy.
“Wow what a bestfriend dude. Salamat ah?” Sarcastic na sabi ni Azi.
Nagtawanan kaming lahat sa kusina maliban kay Azi. I cant believe he’s stalking someone. Nako. Baka pag nalaman ng fangirls ni Azi na may kinahuhumalingan na tong kambal ko ay magkaworld war.
Masaya kaming nagtawanan habang kumakain ng breakfast. Hindi parin namin tinigilan si Azi sa kakaasar tungkol dun sa Safrina. In all fairness, ang ganda ng pangalan niya. I bet she’s one sophisticated lady. Her whole name screams the word gorgeousness.
"Anyways. I gotta go. Bye mom, dad." Nakipagbeso siya kay Mommy at fist to fist with Dad. "Dude, ikaw na bahala sa kambal ko ah. Bye By." Sabi niya sabay kiss sa cheeks ko.
