Am I Broken?

Chapter 32

Jennifer's P.O.V.

Jill and Georgia? Georgia went to Jill for space away from me? My eyes filled with tears and my heart started to feel like it was slowly fading away.

-"Ok! Plus, it does look really cute!"

-"Well, I am glad you like it! Besides, I know what you like! I am glad that were are ok."

-"Me too." *they both laughed together and walked away.

I didn't realize I was crying and Leah quickly ran outside. The paparazzi was yelling at me trying to get me to look up. They asked me why I was crying and came to a surprise that they didn't know Jill was here. We got into the car and drove off. I just was crying all the way home and Leah just stayed silent as she drove me home.

We got to the house and I just walked to my room and slammed the door. I lay in bed and just cried as I held the pillow close to me. Does Georgia really miss Jill? Does she love her more than me now? What if she started to like Jill more and then wants Harry to end up back with Jill? Could I do any worse as a step-mother? I heard the door open and I just buried my face into the pillow.

-"Hey, I am sorry you saw that. Honestly, I was surprised too. To see them together after all Jill has done to the poor girl." *she sat on the bed and rubbed my back to comfort me.

-"Does she still love me? Does she still want me in her life? She seemed so happy to be with Jill and that looks to be the happiest she has ever been since she has waken up... I feel like I am failing not only as a wife but, as a step-mother..." *I bursted into tears again.

-"Of course she loves you still Jen! Just because they were laughing and buddy, buddy doesn't mean you were replaced. Just go to sleep ok? I will check on you in a bit."

-"Ok..." *I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

Leah's P.O.V.

I closed the door and ran down the stairs to Jen's phone. I called Georgia.

-"Hello?"

-"Georgia!"

-"Leah? What's wrong? Is everything ok?"

-"Where are you...?"

-"I am... at the mall..."

-"With who?"

-"With a friend..." *she is lying to me.

-"Are you telling me the truth? I need the truth now because I need to go get you..."

-"I will be home before dad gets back, don't worry."

-"No Georgia, you don't get it... your mother looks the exact same way that she looked since you were down... you need to come home, stop playing this game."

-"Seriously? A game? I am sorry I hurt her and it hurts me too but we need to be apart after everything that you said was true! We need this time and I am making sure we have the time!"

-"So who are you with?"

-"I told you! I am with a friend that I am staying with at the mall!"

-"Georgia, we both know that, that answer is only 50% correct... you know, let me tell you something and put some knowledge into your head. If you really did love Jen, then you would of found a different way to do this... you would find a way to where it wouldn't hurt her... you would of stayed here! And you wouldn't have had to lie not only to her... but to me..."

-"What are you talking about! I haven't told any lies!"

-"There is the lying again... why can't you just tell me that your with Jill at the mall... and she is buying you hoodie's and shirts and while you guys are having the time of your lives, you're TRYING TO BE step-mother is broken hearted once again... because we saw you and Jill having the time of your lives together... Jen has been questioning if you want her in your life anymore and if you still love her! If you become attached to Jill again and then you want her and Harry to be back together again... you know, after everything that women did to you, you still went back... I guess Jen was right about one question... want to know what it was? Of course you do! She asked me, does she miss Jill? I guess she is right about you missing her... so go have fun and be happy while I take care of your broken mother again... and the first time was an exception since you had no intentions of hitting your head but this time... your did it on purpose... When you come home or that is IF you come home, I will be surprised if Jen turns you down... she did everything to fix you and make you happy again and she succeeded at first... but I guess you weren't happy anymore and wanted the old life back... so when you come home, Jen will forgive you but me? It is going to take a lot more than a sorry to fix it for me... goodbye Georgia..." *I hung up and let out a sigh... how could she do this to Jen after everything.
