It all started at the fall of Beacon we're you thought Pyrrha had killed penny but was framed by Cinder and her puppets. You remembered how much you cried that day but after everything you were still moving with Ruby and JNR. You missed all your friends Yang who wouldn't get out of bed, Blake who ran away and who knows if she's coming back or not, Pyrrha and Penny who...
The walk all the way to mistral was adventurous fighting Grimm along the way and a faunus scorpion guy who almost killed Uncle Qrow (Qrow's everyone's uncle). But after that everything went awful it was so much worse meeting Raven and the fact that she betrayed Yang even more was enough for you to despise Raven. The ride to Argus was also awful after you guys got the relic it seemed that you guys could never get a break from Salem or from her henchmen. But finally after entering Atlas at last no that was still awful you fought Grimm after 5 minutes of being there. You sighed but as soon as you looked there was a Grimm going to attack Blake you failed to grab your weapon in time to (throw, shoot, or run towards the beast) in time.
Then there were lasers you weren't paying attention all you could was pay attention was to your old friend you flew down after using her laser boots.
"Penny?" You questioned and she looked at you then ruby.
"Sal," oh god. She got into a charging position, "U-tation!" She charged at the both of you and hugged you both.
Time skip
You arrived at Atlas Academy in hand cuffs...great...You thought. The guards walking you guys down a hallway stopped when they saw Ironwood, Weiss's sister Winter, and Penny. Weiss came out from behind Blake and Ruby.
"Winter..." She said and for a second Winter's face turned into one of shocked but her eyes were happy to see Weiss.
"Anyone wants to give us a hand with these?" Nora sang interrupting Weiss and Winter's reunion.
Winter straightened up and looked at the guards menacingly.
"You have 10 seconds to take those off before I start hurting you." Winter said calmly but with spark in her voice. The Guards looked at each other confused then turned around quickly helping you guys out of the cuffs saying apologizes. After that ironwood led you into his office.
"Please come in," He said, "It is so good to see you all." He said calmly.
"Our reception didn't really convey that," Yang said her robotic arm gripping her regular human arm were the ropes of the cuffs were.
"I sincerely regret how you were treated by my team," Ironwood said walking to his desk, "When a rogue airship entered our airspace, it raised some red flags. We assumed the ship was stolen." He finished and sat down at his chair.
"Stolen? Ha..ha..Okay yeah it was stolen," Ruby admitted.
"You stole an Atlas airship?" Winter spike up questioningly and Weiss looked down as Winter started walking towards her, "What were you thinking?! You might have been shot down! How unbelievably irres-!" She was cut off when Weiss decided to hug her in a way of showing I missed you and I'm sorry.
"I'm sorry I worried you, but we did what we had to do," Weiss said and Winter hugged back hesitating.
"I...I suppose I understand," Winter separates from her and looked at Qrow, "But I cannot believe you allowed this to happen, Qrow!" She yelled and you winced a little.
"You try stoppin' these kids when they have their minds set on something," He pointed to Ruby. Yes blame it on the children... you thought.
"Speaking of which, we have some important information that's...confidential," Qrow said as Winter walked back to were she was standing before.
Timeskip
After explaining almost everything to the general Penny showed you around after that you were showed to your dorms. But you were too tired to listen to anything besides Penny saying, That she wanted to see you in the morning so you and her could go on a mission together. You smiled and nodded before you entered your dorm with JNR because there were four bunks and fell asleep. The next morning you were given new suits by Pietro and set off to find out what was happening next. You guys were given hunter licenses and were allowed to go on missions. So you went on one with penny and chatted what you were doing.
"I missed you guys," She said and you smiled.
"We missed you too," You said, "But why didn't you call or text us that you were alive?" You asked and penny looked down as you two continued to walk in the search of Grimm.
"Well after I became protector of mantle I had responsibilities and after we lost the war Ironwood decided there wouldn't be any neighborhood talking, I really wanted to call you guys, but it seemed that I could never find the perfect time to. I'm sorry..." She mumbled the last part and frowned which was unlike her.
"Hey I get it responsibilities are had to take care of, I wished we would've gotten to mantle sooner." You said and Penny's head peaked up.
"Why?" She questioned and you smiled.
"So I could've seen you sooner," Penny laughed a little.
"I wish I've gotten to see you too!" Penny hugged you excited you were gonna hug back but the hug was bone crushing and you couldn't breathe.
"...Pen-penny I can't!" She realized what you were saying and released you with a sorry.
Time skip
After taking and doing several missions General Ironwood and Clover thought it was a good time for a night off. So you, Ren, Nora and ruby went to meet up at the political rally for the next in line for council. Robyn Hill vs. Jacques Schnee secretly hopping Robyn would win. But after you guys walked into the door Ren and Nora started to argue. You and Ruby snuck away with Penny to meet up with Marrow. He and Penny were guarding the political rally but for his case he was guard dogging the political rally.
A couple of seconds before the voting was about to end the lights went off and all you could hear was screams. Just like at beacon you remembered as tears stung in the corners of your eyes, but before the lights came on you saw a man who had a scorpion tail with a glint of blood on his tail then saw him run away. The lights turned on blinding you and before you knew it Penny was being framed for something she didn't do. You sighed and waited for what to do next, but it seemed the general didn't want to talk so you went to Penny and Pietro. Penny seemed upset and tired and stressed...and so not like penny...
"Hey Penny...You know we're gonna find that info to prove it wasn't you..y,know?" You ask walking over to where she was sitting and she nods.
"I'm supposed to be their protector, their hero, and now they think that I've gone rogue! I-...I'm scared Y/n... what if General Ironwood shuts me down permanently!" Penny stressed.
"That won't happen! I won't let it! It won't be a repeat of beacon I promise! You won't be shut down and we'll prove it was Tyrian and not you!" You gripped her shoulders and she looked at you.
"How?" Penny asked (this is the moment where they could've asked if Penny was the type of robot that recorded things with her eyes but they didn't) and you shook you head.
"I don't know," You shrugged, "But I'll try my hardest! I'll do it for you." Penny hugged you not as tight as earlier but as she needed comfort you'd be there for you. You'd try your best to make her smile again. You'd do it for her...
Hey so I know I just watched volume 7 episode 9 and not to give any spoilers but they did find evidence that penny didn't kill those people. Anyway, hopefully you enjoyed reading because it's not spell checked... also sorry if the ending was too quick.
