You were an experiment...in Atlas facility down by the labs you were experimented on with all sorts of chemicals. Keep in mind that you were only human when the experiments began. You volunteered for Atlas since they said that you would help a lot of people. Who's they? Well you don't know everyday someone new came to experiment on you with different chemicals. You did know one thing for sure they injected you with Grimm blood.
The transformation was long but not too long because you started to show signs two months later. One of your eyes had turned blood red your eyes no longer showed their natural color, your teeth had gotten sharper, and you sprouted Beowulf ears. You got angry at every doctor that approached you so they put you in cuffs. You would attack them if you could get out of them. But one day a brilliant scientist came into your "room". He sat in a mechanical chair that almost looked as if the chair was a spider. You could walk around freely in your room, but they put you into a capsule whenever they experimented on you.
"Y/n my name is Pietro Polendina I will be the scientist that will experiment on you until we are finished with the procedure," He said in a calming voice, but you didn't believe him.
"Sure...they'll send in a new scientist every week saying the same thing," You say and he nods.
"I'm one of Atlas's brilliant minds, Ironwood himself wanted me to experiment on you no one else, I promise I'll be the last scientist you see," He said and you almost believed him, but who knew how long this experiment has been going on. You could only guess a year and a half, but it's probably been more then just one year.
"I know you don't trust me but why don't we get to know each other?" He asked and you shrugged. Why not?
Timeskip
Pietro isn't a bad person. He's told you and taught you a lot, but of course he's experimenting on you but he's not like the other scientists who would have not waited to inject you. Pietro waits if you say no not now...you've gotten sick of those days of coughing up blood from being experimented on too much.
Pietro sometimes mentions his daughter and his life work, but it makes you happy to think that he trusts you with this information. He's given you small gifts too life a ball you can squeeze whenever you feel nervous, plenty of books to read, and asked the general to move you to a room that has a window. He's kind, but sometimes he disappears for a long period of time and you think he's not going to come back. The question looms in your thoughts. Where is he?
Pietro's Pov
"Penny,"
"Yes sir?" She questions looks over at me as I work on blueprints for a new project in my lab.
"How would you like to go and see who I've been working with?" I ask and she beams in excitement.
"Really?! I absolutely cannot wait!"
"Okay we'll leave first thing tomorrow afternoon," I smile and she nods.
The next day I bring Penny to the Atlas lab and a room labeled experiment 257. I open the door and I see Y/n reading one of the books I got her on the floor. She looks up as the door opens.
"Dr. Pietro! How are you?" She asks.
"I'm alright Y/n, how are you?" I ask as penny stands behind me.
"I'm doing okay, excuse me for asking sir but what took you so long?" She sounds like an impatient puppy.
I chuckle, "Well I was working on something and I thought you'd like some time away from all the experiments,"
"That's thoughtful of you sir," She smiles getting up walking over to Penny and I.
"Thank you, Y/n, but now I want to introduce you to someone," I say walking aside.
"This is Penny Polendina, my daughter," I say and penny smiles.
"Salutations, Y/n!" She says and Y/n tilts her head in confusion.
"Is she going to experiment on me too?" Y/n asks and I shake my head no.
"Nope I was hoping the two of you could be friends," I say and y/n nods.
"Alright..." She says going back to her spot where she continues to read her book, Penny follows her sitting down with her as I get to work.
No ones Pov
"I've never had a friend before..." You say and penny smiles.
"Really? Well I'm gonna be your friend now so get ready for fun activities!" She says.
"That sounds great but I can't leave my room," I say and penny thinks for a moment.
"Alright well I shall bring fun activities here, wait a moment please!" She says then bolts out of the room at an inhuman speed.
You look at pietro and he looks back at you, "Penny isn't exactly human," He says.
"So she's like me then?" He looks at you confused, "An experiment?"
"Y/n you should now that you're not just an experiment neither is penny," He walks over to you with a syringe and you put your right arm up, "You might be half Grimm and penny might be a robot, but that doesn't mean you and her are any less human," He says and you smile.
"Wait did you say she might be a robot?" You ask, but before he can answer penny runs in with board games.
Timeskip
Penny's interesting...she's been coming whenever Dr. Pietro visits you. She told you about how her friends from beacon have come to Atlas to help with Grimm attacks and a new amity arena for communication. But suddenly the visits have stopped and you've been all by yourself. No Dr. Pietro, no new books, and no penny. What's going on? Suddenly you heard a loud crash coming from the rooms next door, then you heard fighting, and muffled yelling. But then it all stopped with the sound of a yell. You heard running coming towards your room.
The door opened, "Y/n! Come with us!" You looked at Penny.
"What? Wait what's going on? Who's us, penny?" Penny walked over to you.
"I'll explain when you're safe on the airship," Penny says picking you up bridal style and running out of the room.
"Penny I'm not supposed to leave the room until the experiments are done!" Penny didn't listen she kept on running until you got to a room with cracks in the wall. She ran until she jumped making it into an airship with a bunch of different people.
"Y/n you're okay," You looked at the voice, seeing Dr. Pietro.
"Sir what's going on? Who are these people??" You ask.
"I'll explain that later I have to check up on you, you've haven't been outside that room in 2 years," He said walking over to you. Penny put you down the people on the ship looked confused and startled at your appearance.
"Hey it'll be okay...I'll tell you everything just sit tight, please," Penny said and you nodded.

Once you got to know everyone they asked you a bunch of questions like what happened to your eye, where you a faunus and did you have those Beowulf ears, what happened to you to make you look like that?
"Excuse me everyone but I don't mean to sound offensive but you shouldn't ask so many questions it's rude," Penny says, "I also don't think Y/n wants to answer some of them," She looks at you with an understanding smile, but you felt even more concerned with the fact that everyone was looking at you. Penny walked up to you and sat down with you squeezing you into a hug.
"It'll be okay, everything will be okay," She says but you didn't know if she was comforting you or herself...
Hey everyone first I want to thank you for reading and hopefully you enjoyed. Also I noticed that I didn't do some of the requests I had been asked to do back in maybe February. I'm sorry I'm trying to get to them as soon as I can but I've been requested to do a lot lately.
