Ivan/Cross's Pov
I snapped...you had Cardin Winchester in an arm lock his arm behind his back as his face was on the ground. He had bullied faunus like you enough you had it with him. I was pissed off and ready to burn him into toast.
"Cross!" A voice yelled and you looked around spotting the black and red haired leader of team RWBY, "That's enough, you're hurting him just like he hurt the faunus! You're not him!" I looked beside her and spotted the rest of team RWBY. I realized what ruby said and let go of him.
"Don't you dare try hurting Velvet, or Jaune, or anyone else again. You hear me?" I say and he nods running off. Footsteps approached me as I sigh look at the ground.
"I'm sorry..." I say and Yang shakes her head.
"It's ok! I would've done the same anyway," Yang says her voice full of concern, but still with the same happiness she always held.
"Oof!" Blake jabbed Yang in the side.
"I mean you got him to stop harassing the faunus at this school." Blake said as Yang rubs her side. You nod.
"That's true but who's to say he's stopped? He might carry on even though I've warned him not to," Yang nods.
"He might, but with that arm lock you had him in I doubt that," Yang says smiling at me making me smile back.
Yang never failed to make you smile after all she was everyone's smiling sunshine.
Until she wasn't...
Timeskip
Beacon after fall...
Yang didn't get up from bed...all her teammates were gone. Disappeared somewhere. She knew where Ruby went and where Weiss was. I stayed with her she had already lost so much. Her arm, her sister, her team. I wasn't gonna leave her side I would be sure to make her smile. I would make sure she's happy like how she made me feel happy all the time. I'll be there for her. I promise her!
"Good morning," I say as I walk into her room carrying breakfast for her.
"I'm not hungry..." She says no emotion in her voice.
"Yang you haven't eaten in days. Please just a little bit..." I say and she turns her head away from me.
"I don't feel good, Ivan," She says her voice cracking, "I want my little sister to hold me...I want someone to hold me..." She says pain rising in her voice as she clutches her stump.
She jumps in shock as I hug her, "I'm here..." She then started to sob into my arm.
~Time skip~
"Yang?" She's back...I looked at Yang her mouth wide open and she looked hurt.
Ruby turned to the staircase, "Yang, Go!" Yang then turned away and ran. The irony...
Blake then turned away and went back outside leaving us to fight emerald,mercury, and hazel. I growled as mercury started to approach us.
~Time skip~
"Well I'm not going anywhere..." I canceled them out for a second looking at Yang she was so lost in thought but then she smiled.
"Yeah..." Yang said making Blake smile then she sat down with us hugging all of us. A few moments later we met Blake's parents. They complimented my scales and I thanked them they where so nice. To all of us including Weiss. After all, not all of us had the best childhood. A few hours later when we arrived at home with the relic we all went to bed. But, before I could lay down there where knocks on my door.
"Hello?" I opened the door revealing Yang she looked at me upset.
"Hey...can I come in?" She asked and I nodded.
"Absolutely," I opened the door for her letting her in and she walked over and sat on my bed.
"Do-Do you think Blake will run away again and leave us behind?" She asked her insecurities arouse in her voice and her eyes.
"No...I believe she loves us and wouldn't dare leave us behind again." I say and she nods.
"Ivan...can I? Can I sleep with you?" My face boomed in red, "N-not like that I mean like...cuddling you...please just for a night?" Her eyes made it so unfair to say no, but why would I want to?
"Of course." I say and she smiles at me not the normal happy smile the one that she has on when she needs to smile for the rest of us.
You don't need to smile to make us happy I'm already happy when I'm with you...
Time skip.
All of us have traveled so far to get to our point...we traveled through mantle, and Argus, just to get to Atlas in one piece. We did get there but shortly after we did we got arrested for parking the ship we stole from Argus somewhere we shouldn't have parked. We fought Grimm and saw penny 2.0 that was rude just Penny again. She hugged Ruby with such enthusiasm it made all of us smile. Yang's foot was tapping against the floor of the car we traveled so far just to get where we were now. I put my hands on Yang's knee the one leg that was tapping on the ground was no longer doing it and was staring at me in shock.
"Everything will be ok," I say and she smiles at me. In Argus Blake and Yang made up after they fought Adam together. Yang was happy again, but the things that red haired goat man did to her couldn't replace the trauma after fighting and winning against him.
"Thank you..." She says and then the truck opened.
Time skip (sorry there's so many)
We arrived at Atlas academy and talked to Ironwood then get acquainted into our new rooms everything was fine and dandy for now. But who long will it be when something happens again? When something bad happens? When Salem attacks with her forces will we be able to withstand them? Would anyone get hurt? Would Yang d-!?
"Hey!" Yang yelled at me making me jump.
"Shh don't wake the others..." I say and she jumps into my bed.
"S-Sorry...hey is something wrong? You weren't moving a lot when you laid down in bed. Are you ok?" She asks and when you don't respond it makes her more worried, "Ivan?"
"I'm scared Yang...what if something bad happens again...what if someone...dies? What if I lose yo- someone who means a lot to me?" I ask her and she crawls into my bed with me.
"That won't happen...it'll be ok. Do-do you wanna cuddle tonight?" She asks and I nod.
"I think I'm gonna need some cuddles tonight..." She smiles in delight.
"Great!"
The next day team RWB found you two cuddled up besides each other.
"I think they need this." Blake said and Weiss nodded.
"Yeah they definitely do...now come on let's get some breakfast," Weiss said and Ruby smiled.
"Chocolate chip pancakes!" Ruby yelled and Blake chuckled as Weiss said no.
Yang's eyes opened a little and she kissed your forehead, "I'm here..." she whispered.
I'm gonna finish these oneshots then start my break for a couple of days. I just don't know what I need. I'll be back soon that's for sure. But hopefully you guys enjoyed this chapter. Sorry if it's a little rushed...thank you for understanding!
