What made you sneak out every night? You were always back in the morning around 6am. Winter had noticed this since she was intrigued with you I mean what's going on with you. Where were you heading late at night? And every time she asked that you'd always say something like training or maybe you should mind your own damn business. But she couldn't she wanted to investigate. So she did...
One night on a full moon when you snuck out she followed you. Watched you make your way to the solistas forest. Watched you stand in a clearing. And watched you transform into something that wasn't human. She gasped not loud but enough to catch your attention. Your eyes filled with fear almost as if she was going to think you were a Grimm and take your life or she was going to tell your friends.
But..
"...Y/n? I'm sorry..I guess I should've listened when you said to mind my own business...I won't tell..I promise." She walked towards you you looked down at her nodding your head 'thank you'. On the outside you looked like a monster but on the inside you were still human.
She didn't...
You trusted her to keep this between you and her, she proved herself capable of your trust. Sometimes when she hears you leave your room she comes up to you real quick to give you a snack she stole from the cafeteria to you. She's actually really nice once you get to know her. She understands why trust is so important and why you probably will never tell anyone about this, for when she told her mother about her sexuality her mother went straight to her father. Her father wasn't the most accepting man and didn't want her to effect Weiss or Whitley, the man practically kicked her out of the house, out of the family...
One night she decided to come with you out to the woods to stay up with you. You weren't the most harmless werewolf. You would kill animals like bunnies or rats or mice sometimes even birds and when you'd bring them back to her she tried her best to smile and say thank you.
Since you can't talk in your wolf form she talks but not that much because she thinks she'll talk about something that'll annoy you and she wouldn't know until the sunrises. The fact that she cares for you surprises you every day makes you feel special. The night was nice stars scattered through the sky and moon still out with its white glare.
Although the moon shone beautifully through the night something ugly was about to fill the night. The air thickened as you a bullet zoomed close to your head. Winter looked at you confused and a little frustrated. You looked around but didn't see who shot the bullet. Another one zoomed past your head, you got up. This person had stealth but you could see that they were preparing a greater attack. You pointed in a direction telling winter to hide somewhere. She gave you an are you crazy look? You sigh.
After a while the gun fire seemed to seize, but you couldn't relax. Finally another shot was fired this time the bullet hit it's mark in your shoulder. Winter gasped and you applied pressure to it. You choked on your own blood coughing some as it spilled onto the floor winter finally had enough of who was shooting at you.
"Enough! Who is out there?!" Winter yelled and the person approached behind a tree.
"I'm saving you from this beast," The person said holding there gun right at you.
"General? Did you follow me out here?" You looked over it was the General as Winter stated.
"I followed Y/n out her but it seems the beast has already killed her and you're their next victim," Ironwood said you wanted to yell that it was you but the intense pain from your shoulder and the fact that you couldn't talk back made it difficult for you.
"Sir wait this is Y/n," Winter said kneeling to your side the sun rising in the horizon.
"Have you gone mad, Schnee?" Ironwood said a look that said are you crazy? Written all over his face. He cocked his gun ready to shoot at you this time aiming for your head. But you ducked just in time for the bullet to barely miss you.
The sun rose in the distance and the full moon set your transformation back to human was more painful since the area in your shoulder stung and was bleeding out. Ironwood gasped as he saw you the human you. Winter quickly took off her jacket and placed it over you. You looked up at her before everything went black.
You woke up in a hospital bed your head stung as you sat up as well as your shoulder. You sat in a room, on a hospital bed and your shoulder was wrapped with plaster. You heard yelling coming from outside of your room. You got up stepping on the cold floor with bare feet and walked towards the door. You opened it and winter and ironwood froze.
"You're okay," Winter said smiling at you you looked at ironwood. He looked down ashamed at himself.
"I'm sorry L/n I didn't know that there was that side to you," He said and you nodded.
"Mmm i suppose it's all right...but just know that I won't forgive you this easily if you shoot me again," He looks up at you and nods, "Now please take your leave I believe winter and I need to talk." He nods again turning and walking away. You take a deep breath in and then sigh out.
"You should be in bed what're you doing up?" Winter asked and you smiled.
"Would you prefer me to never get out of bed?" You asked.
"Of course not I want you healed and healthy not walking around while your wound isn't healed," She says.
"Aww you care about me," You laugh at her pouty face.
"Shut up..."
