Detention after detention...you spent an hour of after school with Glynda, lunch detentions, and just writing on a board saying I apologize for interrupting Professor Goodwitch. Some of the interruptions weren't even your fault it was just that the professor seemed to have a problem with you. What for? You thought as you sat down quietly in detention sighing to yourself. It was like she despised you and whatever you did. She watched you like a hawk and paid no attention to anyone else when they were causing trouble. Cardin was also there in detention with you being a prick and throwing paper balls at you. Glynda was grading papers not looking at you two only taking small glances at you. Cardin threw another paper ball at you and you turned around.
"Where the hell are you getting all that paper?" You asked sharply.
He shrugged, "Failed quizzes."
"Y/n, Cardin no talking," Goodwitch said finally looking at you two. You sighed and faced toward Goodwitch. Goodwitch turned back to grading papers before giving you a sharp glare.
What's wrong with her?
"Excuse me Miss L/n?!" You idiot you said that out loud.
"Sorry Professor, but why do you hate me so much?" It seemed that Glynda's glare softened but it only appeared that way for a second.
Glynda sighs, "Cardin you're dismisses, Y/n stay seated."
You internally groan in frustration slamming your head on the table in front of you. In what felt like hours Glynda finally dismissed you turns out it was only 15 minutes. You walked out of the classroom relieved.
"What was that about?" You look to your side seeing Cardin.
"Were you waiting for me?" You ask and he shrugs.
"Just want to know what took you so long," That's unlike him to say...is he worried about me?
"She just wanted me to stay for 15 excruciating minutes," You say and he chuckles a little as you start to walk away he catches up to you.
"Hold on I wasn't done talking with you," He says demandingly making you look at him.
"That's too bad because I am," You say then you walk off.
Timeskip
You walk into Glynda's class the next day sighing. You've had detention from the beginning of second year. The bell rang as you sat down in your seat Glynda stood up from her desk to start to teach. Midway through class you felt drowsy almost falling asleep before a paper ball was chucked at your head. You pulled your head up quickly but it caused some of your books to fall off the table making a loud noise and distributing Professor Goodwitch.
"Y/n...do you have a reason you were disturbing my teaching?" She asked and you looked down.
"I um...I fell asleep and then someone woke me up suddenly," You say.
"Falling asleep in class?" She asks her eyebrows go up a little, "Should I be worried of this happening in the future?" She asks.
"No ma'am," You say and she nods.
"Good 3 day lunch detention," She says turning her attention back to the board.
"Really?!" You groan out loud and she looks back at you.
"Is there a problem, Miss L/n?" She asks and you shake your head no.
"No ma'am..." She nods finally going back to teaching. You hear laughs looking in the direction you see Cardin laughing at you. You scowl at him but look back at the board another ball is chucked at your head. You slam your fists into the table.
"Quit it Cardin!" You shout.
"L/n that is the second time you've interrupted class!" Glynda yells.
"I'm sorry miss but Cardin won't stop chucking paper balls at me!" You yell back at her and she looks at Cardin. It looks like she scowls with jealousy for a second but it goes away quickly.
"Nobody likes a whiner L/n," She says and Cardin covers his mouth to laugh at you.
You sigh, "I'm sorry ma'am I won't interrupt again." You say and she nods.
"Hopefully that's true," She turns her attention back to the board.
Timeskip
The first day of lunch detention went smoothly you had to write a 200 word essay on apologizing to Professor Goodwitch and to the class then had to read it out loud in front of the class the next day. You hated it because everyone just seemed to look at you. The second day you sat quietly not doing anything being bored. Right now you sat down the third day in lunch detention. Lunch was about to end so you packed up your stuff getting ready to leave.
"Miss L/n did I say you could leave?" She asked and you shook your head no.
"No," You sank back down to your seat Glynda got up from her's.
"Y/n come here," She says and you oblige confused. You walked down to her desk and stand in front of it.
"Come here," She points in front of her and you look at her confused, "Don't question me Miss L/n,"
You sigh and stand in front of her. In a split second Glynda grabs your cheeks and pulls you in for a kiss. You don't know what to do so you melt into the kiss wrapping your arms around her waist.
"What the hell is happening?" You ask pulling away ...this is...wow...
"Y/n have you noticed Cardin's stares at you? Notice how he stopped bullying Velvet and started to throw paper balls at you?" You nod.
"Duh..." You say and she chuckles a little.
"He's doing this because he likes you and I just can't stand it," She says.
"Wait why?" She looks at you deadpanned.
"Because I obviously like you? Why would I have kissed you?" She asks and you mentally face palm.
"I'm an idiot," You say and she smiles nodding.
"Mhm.." She kisses your cheek, "But now you're my idiot,"
"...Cool."
