The Next Day :

I stood next to Hayden and the others, listening to the school broadcast.
When the principal spoke.

"well, this past month has been really exciting. We had a few important things happening around, for example, Miss Adelle Macron here and The Exhausting Journey cast shooting their amazing series. Some people would say it would be tough to have a whole cast filming during school day, but honestly, they were the perfect cast anyone could've ever imagined. "
I smiled at her words.

"Adelle, Pamela, would you like to say a few words ?"
Me and Pamela headed to the 'stage', and started to speak.
"this past few months we started to film The Exhausting Journey in Washington DC and Maine, and when Adelle offered to film in Omar El-Mochtar and Notre Dame, I didn't really approve of the idea at first. But here we are, we did it ! This experience in Egypt has been amazing, it really changed our mind to know that all the people are really nice, and to know that we have Egyptians, too, behind our backs. It really feels good."

The school cheered at Pamela's words, and I knew I had to speak next.
"I actually don't know how to start..! It feels amazing to stand here with the rest of the cool teachers to support us. Great thanks to Miss Eman here, thank you for accepting us here in the first place, and thanks to the rest of the teachers for not being annoyed by the rest of the cast coming in every hour. It really means a lot to me."

The students cheered, and the cast did too.

I felt my heart popping out of my chest.
All these students cheered for me, it really did feel amazing.

Later :

I checked out our flight schedule, and everything else that involves making my private jet hit the road.
When I got a text.

It was dad.
"Puisque nous partons tous les demain, je viens de vous chercher. Attendez-moi, ok ?"

He said that he'll pick me up today.

And I was quite excited.

When school was over me, Hayden and Johnny headed to the school's front door.
I saw dad in front of our black limo, and walked over to hug him tightly.
He was leaving for France at the same time we were leaving for America, and to be honest, it kind of hurt.

"Bonsoir, papà.."
I whispered, and he patted my shoulder gently.
"Bonsoir, chérie."
We rode the car after, heading towards Rajwan's school, Janaklis All-Boys Middle School.

"Rajwan, come on ! We still have to go to Notre Dame !"
I 'yelled' for Rajwan, who was talking to some boy I didn't know.
I didn't really care though, Egyptian boys are weird.
Thank god my brother is Syrian.

Rajwan entered the car, hugging dad in process.
My friends stared at them in awe.

James started the engine again, and we went to Notre Dame.

I don't know why, but I had a really bad feelings about it.
It was really bad, that I didn't even know how can something possibly be that bad.

What could go wrong ?

To Be Continued..
