"whatever. I gotta go to the Raven's home set anyway."
I said coldly, and walked out of the set towards my limo.I entered, closing the door with a loud thud. I sighed as the driver started the engine.
15 Minutes Later :
I arrived at the set of Raven's Home, and I smiled softly. I easily forgot about Hanin as I found myself entering the place.
I stood there at first, confused for a moment, when I saw a familiar face walking towards me.
Isaak.
He smiled, and gave me a quick hug."Hey ! Thank God you're here. Are you ready to take the role ?"
I nodded.
"yeah."I went to meet Eunetta T. Boone after.
(Rest in Peace Eunetta.)
She gave me a script, and I started to read it right away.
She then gave me a schedule, and made sure I was free at filming times.I sat on an empty table, and started to read my script quietly, feeling kind of lonely.
When someone walked up to me.
Navia Robinson and Skye Katz. They started talking me, and I happily started a conversation with them, about random things.
I was happy to find friends on Set.
Halfway through the conversation, my phone vibrated.
Dad.
The screen read.
I was kind of confused. Why would he call now ?"Can you girls give me a minute ?"
They nodded, giving me side smiles, I gave them one back, and pressed Accept on my phone.
"Bonjour, Papà. Comment ça va ?"He sighed sadly, which left me in more confusion.
"ça va bien, Chérie. Quelque chose s'est passé et je voulais te le dire."
(fine, sweetie. I wanted to tell you something.)"Oui, papà ? Qu'est-ce qui s'est passé ?"
I was getting doubtful, but I managed to stay calm in front of my new friends."Notre Dame de Paris est en feu, et nous ne pouvons pas sembler mettre le feu."
(Notre Dame de ParisWhat the..?
Then it hit me.
I made a wish the night before I left Egypt.
I mean, I was so mad at the teachers in Notre Dame that I wished for something bad to happen to them, but apparently my wish wasn't clear enough.I wish something bad to happen to the people in Notre Dame, or Notre Dame itself. I wish it starts fire.
Well, pretty cold, isn't it?
There's no way I can tell him that.
"Je suis tellement désolé papa, je souhaite que je puisse te faire à la fois."
(I'm so sorry, dad. I wish I can make it up to you.)"Que voulez-vous dire, Chérie ? Ce n'était pas ta faute."
(what do you mean, sweetie? It's not your fault.)
"Non, Papà. J'adore beaucoup Notre Dame de Paris, donc je me sens mal."
(no, dad. I just love Notre Dame de Paris so much, so I feel bad.)"Ne vous inquiétez pas à ce sujet, chérie. Nous trouverons un moyen de le réparer."
(Don't worry, sweetheart. We'll find a way to fix it.)
"oui..Au..revoir, papà."
(goodbye, dad.)I said sadly, sighing.
"Au Revoir, chérie."
He said, and we hung up.I tried not to stay upset in front of the others but I just couldn't escape it.
I made a wish that came true.
But, not exactly.To Be Continued..
