"What's going on ?"
I whispered, twisting the door handle desperately, in attempt to throw it open, but it was no use.
I gasped in terror, my heart beating quickly each second, not able to breathe for a moment. This can't happen. Not right now.
"Adelle, is everything alright ?"
Barron asked in confusion as he took a gentle grip on my shoulder, in attempt to make me look at him.I looked up to him, my eyes filled with tears.
"The stupid door is not budging.."
I choked out, crossing my arms near my chest, looking away.
He then twisted the door handle eagerly, to no avail.I felt guilty for being mad at him. It was useless anyway, and I was being selfish. I hated being selfish.
As soon as he let go of the door, I hugged his waist tightly, trying not to let my tears stream.
"I'm sorry, Barron."He flinched for a moment, shocked, but eventually hugged back, rubbing my back gently.
"It's okay, Goddess. I know you're having a hard time."
"But you'll miss your test."I said sadly, pouting.
"I can always take it later, and I'll have a good excuse."
He smiled, and I knew he meant me. But I didn't complain.
We sat down on those comfortable armchairs, and started talking, trying to pass the time.30 Minutes Later :
As I was growing more desperate to get out of the principal's office, I got a text.
Unknown number..
See what happens when you don't do what I told you to do ?My expression turned angry as I scowled at my phone's screen. Barron squeezed my shoulder, trying to help me calm down, and I knew he was reading over my shoulder.
So you wanna play with fire, Pitbull ? You got it. But remember, nothing good ever comes out of that.Pitbull.
I don't know why I typed that. But it was too late to delete the message, so I just sighed, squeezing Barron's comforting hand.
Pitbull.
What if Pitbull is the stalker too ?After all, he wants revenge on us for firing him.
Could he be ?I glanced at Barron, who was staring at me sadly.
"It's going to be fine."
He whispered, and leaned in. I leaned in too, and our lips collided in a deep passionate, comforting kiss.It turned out to be a makeout session.
I don't know how much time passed, but when the door finally opened, the principal entered the room with a horrified expression on his face.
"I'm sorry, it was John playing a mean trick on you two. I punished him. You're allowed to leave if you want to do so."I glanced at Barron, who nodded at the principal.
We turned to leave immediately.I inhaled deeply as soon as we stepped outside.
"Wow. I didn't know locking a person in can be so mean."
I said, exasperated.
"Yeah. But we had a good time."
He replied, smiling at me.I, of course, didn't know that it would be so bad messing with the hacker.
If I did, I would have never threatened him.To Be Continued..
