I heard a gasp behind me, and my expression turned furious. Barron rose up from his seat, his eyes teary.
"Adelle, listen to me. Please."
He pleaded.
I looked away from him, towards Michael. His face was growing more unreadable.
What's wrong with that guy ?"Oh yeah. So, he just kissed me and said that he loves me more than you."
Hanin said sassily, her arms crossed against her chest, smiling triumphly like a jerk.
Millie stood up.
"Adelle, that's not what happened ! I saw the whole thing, she's lying !"Annie came out from behind her.
When did she come anyway ?
"Yeah, I filmed the whole thing."I didn't want to see it. No way.
Barron walked closer towards me.
"I didn't kiss her, I swear.."
Why was he almost crying ?Then I saw a small bite -almost invisible- on his neck, and I immediately realized what happened. I understood why he was on the edge of tears. I understood why they were all acting strange. Hanin made a huge move on him. She touched him, inappropriately.
And they all saw it, they were just scared of my reactions. Wow.I couldn't believe it.
Am I that scary ?I stood there, shocked, looking at my boyfriend, then at my so-called elementary school friend.
"Come with me, Barron."I walked outside, then sat next to Barron on one of those benches.
"Adelle, I'll explain. I can explain.."
He spoke, his voice choked.
"No, sweetie. You don't have to. I'm so sorry you had to go through this. I promise I'll get revenge on her. But you have to promise me first -did you kiss her back ?"I asked him gently, and I was surprised by how calm I sounded.
"No, I swear. I wouldn't do that in a million years.."
He promised.
"Then it's okay. I'm not mad at you. Hanin will get her punishment, and I'll get revenge on her. Soon enough. Did you tell your parents about it ?"He shook his head.
"No, I thought..I'll feel better if I told you instead."
I smiled at him, then leaned in to kiss his lips as passionate as ever.
He immediately kissed me back, wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug. I could sense his happiness. When we broke away, I hugged him and he gave in, a few small tears staining my dress, but they were tears of an usual mix -sadness and relief.
"Don't worry about it, Barron. Sit here and I'll be right back."
He nodded, and I entered the location again.
I grapped Hanin by her arm fiercely, and she let out a howl of pain, tossing my hand away angrily.
I motioned to my security guards and they grabbed her by her both arms, pulling her outside."You're gonna regret the day you've been born, Hanin. Trust me."
I threatened, and dialed someone on my phone.
Time for humiliation. In Another Place :
"I can't believe she would do that to me. She cheated on me !"
Michael said angrily, clenching his hands into fists.
"That's one for one there, Michael."
Rajwan said bitterly."Hey ! For the last time, I don't know who that girl is ! I never met her before ! You're all accusing me of something I didn't do !"
Ths black one said, irritated.
Sadie, Annie and Millie stood in front of Michael, eyeing him devilishly."You know what ? She did a good job.."
In Another Place :
"If she broke the deal one more time, Salma, I swear to God that I'll get her deported back! I have my future father-in-law on my side, and you do not want to mess with him. You or your filthy bitch of a sister."
"I already apologised, Adelle. You and Hanin used to be best friends.."I interrupted her.
"Used to be. Until she came here, and acted like a stupid unloyal bitch ! You have my word anyway. Bye."
I said bitterly, and hung up on Hanin's older sister, Salma.Did that make any difference ?
We'll about to find out.
