Chapter 37

We reached Notre Dame's English Section gate, and we entered.
The students weren't suppose to go home till an hour later. But we didn't wait.
I told my dad, my brother, and my friends to stay in the playground, and that I'll be the one to go get Allison.
But I heard a voice behind me.

I turned around in reaction, and saw two people I really didn't want to see.
"Hanin..? Norhan ?"
Hanin and Norhan are my elementary school friends, and since we were so young, I didn't know which friend was good and which wasn't. Hanin was never a good friend, and neither was Norhan.

But Hanin was toxic, and the more I grew older the more I realized it.
"Hey, Adelle ! I missed you so much."
They both hugged me, but I didn't want to hug them back.
Hayden glanced at Johnny, then at Rajwan. What was happening ?

"so how is public school going? Is it..strange ? How are people like ? They must be so sick there."
That made me angry.
"oh, and who are these ?"

Norhan glanced at Johnny, then Hayden, then Rajwan, who rolled his eyes.
But then they saw my dad.
Hanin gasped, and Norhan covered her mouth in shock.
"oh my god, that's..-"

Rajwan took a few steps toward me, and grabbed my shoulder gently.
"exactly..! Now be the toxic friend you both are somewhere else. We're here to pick up someone."
I flashed him a smile, then rolled my eyes at my old friends.

"got somewhere to be, please don't be the jerk you are, and talk to my dad, or brother, or my best friends. I repeat, do not talk to them."

I ran off to the second floor, and headed to 6/A class, and I noticed they had both Sister Antoinette, and Miss Viola.
I hated both of them, but I entered anyway.

"Hi, Sister Antoinette, Miss Viola. I'm here to pick up Allison."
I really didn't want to start a fight with them, I was filming here anyway, and we were leaving the next day ! But It was Viola who started it.

"How is filming going, Adelle ? I heard you're gonna be so famous once it comes out.."
Was she envying me ? I'm already famous, she just doesn't know it.
"so..?"
Allison walked towards me, and spoke sassily.
"oh, Adelle ! Didn't you hear what both of them just said to me ?"

I shook my head. Of course I didn't hear, I just came.
"They were telling me how much of a spoiled brat I am. When I tried to reply back Viola told me to bring them my mum because I was being naughty, and she knew that my dad wasn't there so that managed to embarrass me in front of the whole class."

I turned to Viola and Antoinette, my expression furious.
"Why would you say that to my sister ?"
I said, calmly. But Allison knew that it was a sign that I was very mad.
"well, your sister is arrogant."

"Look who's talking ! Did any of you forget about our deal ?"

Viola shrugged.
