Chapter 68

Adelle's P.O.V :

I stared at the now ruined limo in shock. It will take too much to clean it up.
Just then, I saw the driver running towards me.

"My apologies, Miss Adelle, I was having lunch."
He glanced at the red paint on the car, and his eyes widened in shock.
"What a horrible, irresponsible thing to do !"

"Just get in the car !"
He bowed, obeying, and entered the car.
I started to look around me again.

The I saw two teenagers running towards me.
Ethan. Isaak.
"We're sorry ! It was a dare-"
I interrupted them.

"You did this ? I can't believe you !"
I exclaimed, the feeling of disappointment filling me.
"You ruined my car !"
"We told you, it was a dare-"
Isaak tried to say, but was interrupted again.

"I don't want to hear it, you jerks ! Leave now, and don't think about coming again today !"
I said, entering the car and closing the door which made a loud thud.

Then the car left.

15 Minutes Later :

I arrived at the Set, and went out of the car.
I was so frustrated.
I then ordered the driver to go to the garage and clean the limo. He promised to do as told.

I walked into the Great Lawn, and looked around me, looking for distraction.

But saw another thing that broke my heart.

Barron was kissing another girl.

I, of course, knew the girl, but then, I wished I didn't know her. I wished that I wasn't so mad at Barron, but I couldn't resist it.
He promised. He promised not to hurt me. But then he did, and it wasn't just any girl.

Judy.
The cousin who's trying to ruin my life.

Barron immediately broke away, his eyes teary.
"I won't do this ! Just stay the hell away from me, stay away from Adelle !"

He got up, and looked in my direction.
His expression turned to shock.
"Adelle- I can explain !"
I couldn't care less about what I just saw. I knew Judy made him do it, so she can subdue him again, but after what happened with Ethan and Isaak, I became so frustrated at Barron.

Barron tried to step closer to me, but I forbade him.
"Don't come closer ! You promised..!"
His expression turned to hurt.
"Adelle- come on, please.."
He pleaded, but I just shook my head.

"I only love you ! Just listen to my explanation, I promise it wasn't my intention to hurt you at all !"
He spoke, his voice choked.
I started to walk away.

"Adelle, I'm sorry ! Please hear me out..!"
He pleaded, his voice could tell his eagerness and hurt.

I just couldn't listen to him.
I get it. When Barron apologizes, it has to be a very special and exceptional thing that he wants to go back to normal. Then, why was I acting like a jerk ? It's pretty hard for me to forgive people, or is it just that I'm trying to keep my dignity ?

If I just ran to him and accepted his apology, then I'd seem like an idiot. Plus I have to think about it for a few days, or find something that will calm me down.

Little did I know that it wasn't only Judy that I had to worry about.
