Chapter 60

15 Minutes Later :

I sat on a table on Set, Barron and my siblings sitting next to me.
Barron hugged my shoulders as he was sitting right next to me, trying to help me feel better.
Rajwan sat silently on my other side, trying to think of something to say. He wasn't sure if he should speak anyway, after my behavior before. I could read it in his eyes that he wanted to say something, to make it up to me, but I didn't give him a chance. I was too upset.

"just say whatever the heck you want to say and get this over with."
Allison whispered in Rajwan's ear.
"I can't talk to her, she's mad at me. Remember ?"
He whispered back.

Allison just sighed, exasperated, and went back to text Rush on her phone.

Barron then let out a math textbook, and started to solve some equations, his left arm still wrapped tightly around my shoulder, as if he was afraid of me going away again.

I made him worry about me because of my idiotic behavior. It was all my fault.

Pamela then gestured for me to come over, and as I tried to move, Barron squeezed my shoulders tighter.
"I'll be back.."
I whispered softly into his ear, and he nodded, letting me go.

I walked over to Pamela.
"so, all we need to do now is to plan a proper funeral for Mars, right ?"
She asked, and I nodded.
"yeah. I guess that's what he deserve, after all he's gone through.."

I said in a low tone, slightly drifting off.
"yeah. Thanks to you."
Matt said angrily, making the others sigh in boredom.
"Can you just shut up ? You've been saying this for over a month now !"

Hayden said, his tone higher than Matt's.
"yeah, and we keep saying the same thing. It's not her fault..!"
Caden continued.

"well, you don't have your cousin killed in a haunted school thanks to your boss ! Bosses, actually !"
Matt replied, motioning to Pamela. Pamela rolled her eyes.
I went back to sit next to Barron, nodding to Pamela as I realized that Matt will not be letting the subject go.

"well, why don't you plan the funeral by yourself ! It would be so much easier when you're around !"
Annie said sassily, rolling her eyes.

Pamela also rolled her eyes while sitting down on the table next to us.
"maybe I will ! I don't know why you even listen to her !"
"shut up !"
Barron replied angrily. He has looked up from his math book just to glare at Matt.

Aww.

"well maybe if you stop blaming people and focus on your own business, it would be alright !"
Johnny replied. Not to Barron, but to Matt. (duh..)

"you know, I've just came a long way, I've heard things, I've seen things. I've done this thing that we should've been doing together. It will be the least things to do to let me have some silence and stop fighting !"
I said angrily, exasperated.
