The next few days went by quickly, like a blur. I enjoyed my school friends' company. But of course, it was Judy who had to be ruining everything.
I was sitting on a table with my friends, Millie and Aya by my side, Sadie, Veronica and Annie were also at the table, getting to know the others.
(it was a very big table..)"I can't believe Judy is your cousin."
"Yeah, but why did she ruin the funeral, you say ?"
I shrugged.
"I don't know. But it wasn't her alone. It was Hanin, too.""You should've seen it, it was a total mess."
Millie agreed.
"Yeah, it wasn't easy. Not for a bit. We had to get the people, and they left angrily anyway."
Annie spoke."Why is she doing this though..?"
Christina asked.
"I don't know. I think she's jealous. She told Basant she was ugly because she doesn't have many friends. She kissed Barron even, and started a fight."
I explained."Her..boyfriend, though..I don't know where I saw him before. He looks awfully familiar."
Aya started, her expression turning thoughtful.One..
Two..
Three..Her expression suddenly went delighted, then twisted into horror.
"We saw him in-"
I immediately interrupted her, putting a hand over her mouth to stop her from saying anything. Luckily she was sitting next to me.It took me longer than her to know where I saw Anthony. Smart me.
"I already know where I saw him, Aya. Don't say it now. All by its time."
She nodded, and I let go of her face, slightly relieved. I noticed that the others' expressions were confused.
"What ? Where did you see him, Adelle ?"
Millie asked, eyeing me in concern."All by its time, Millie. All by its time."
Later :
"Barron, sweetie. How is it going with Maths ?"
I said as I sat next to Barron.
My friends has gone for a walk around town, so they can visit places and everything.
"It's going okay. Thanks, Goddess."
He replied, smiling.I don't know why. But my talk about Judy with my friends made me confused. To relief that, I ended up hugging him.
"Are you okay..?"
He muttered, hugging me back."Yeah..I just feel..confused."
I answered, sighing.A few moments later, I was reading the equations over Barron's shoulder, trying to pass the time.
"Adelle, people are asking questions..!"
Hayden said, jogging into the location.
I stared up at him, confused.
"What do you mean ?"
"I just came from outside, and the journalists won't stop asking about the video !"He spoke, nervous but panting slightly from running.
"Well, Hayden, what do you want me to do ? I can't just explain this on a video. It'll be more confusing.""But.."
"Listen, I'll make a normal video, and at the end, I'll say that we'll explain it in a later video. Simple."
I said, my voice a matter-of-fact."Ok, fine. You win."
"What video are you going to upload ?"
Barron asked enthusiastically. I thought for a moment before I looked up at him, smiling confidently."Boyfriend challenge."
Barron smiled happily.To Be Continued..
