The next day, George and I had breakfast before he kind of disappeared. I mean after we ate, he headed up the stairs and disappeared for an hour. The house was quiet. And it scared me.

I began to look through all the rooms to find him. The last room I checked was a room I haven't saw yet. "Geo?" I said softly as I knocked and opened the door. He sat on a blanket and his legs were criss-crossed. His hair was placed behind his ears and his eyes were closed. He was meditating. Once I called his name, he opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Ooh! I'm sorry for disturbing you! I was just worried." He smiled and reached out to me. "Come try it with me." I closed the door and sat next to him. "I learned more about meditation when I went to India with the boys, their wives and Pattie." I listened as he talked about what he learned there and what he did and believed in. And it intrigued me. Well both the information and his knowledge. I always knew he was smart, but wow. He shocked me.

We began to meditate, and it made me feel so good. About an hour later, we finished and he smiled at me. "Thanks for joining me. Now come. I want you to hear somethin'." He led me to the studio in the house and sat me down. He then grabbed his sitar and began to play it. I was hypnotized by his playing. It was so good! He's is so talented!

When he finished, I clapped. "That was amazing, love! You're so good!" He blushed lightly and kissed my cheek. "Thanks, love." He began to head out and I looked at him. "Where are you going?" I asked and he opened the door to the yard in the back. "I'm going to get started on the garden I decided to plant here." He grabbed some packets of seeds and took them outside.

"Would you like some help?" He shook his head. "No! I don't want ye overworking yeself. I'll be alrigh'." He began to prepare the soil and began planting some seeds and other small trees. Watching him just made him even more attractive to me. They way he carefully worked and paid close attention to what he was doing made me realize why I really love him. He's intelligent, curious, funny, caring, kind and talented. Anything you could ever ask for in a partner.

I walked outside and took in a breath of fresh air. Then I kneeled next to him and began to help him. "Bri-" I cut him off. "I want to help. I'll be careful." He agreed to let me help him. And as we planted everything, we sang along to some of our favorite songs. And anytime I sang a song he didn't like, he would sing another song over my song. I did notice some cramping in my back and stomach area, but I assumed that it was just something that happened to pregnant women.

When we finished, we headed to the bedroom to take a shower. I took one first, while George was on the phone with a friend. I was stripping my clothes when I saw spots of blood in my panties. Was it my period? But how could I get my period if I'm pregnant? I began to panic and I grew worried. I pulled on my clothes and put a pad on and went to George. "Geo!" I said, and he placed his hand over the phone. "Yeah?" He noticed the urgency in my tone and looked at me, frightened.

"I'm bleeding. I don't think I'm supposed to be." His eyes widened and he picked up the phone. "I'll call ye later." He hung up and grabbed his shoes. "I'm taking ye to the doctor." I agreed and grabbed a few things. I was nervous and panicking. "The baby is fine, alright?" George reassured as we got into the car and he drove to the nearest clinic. Luckily, there weren't that many people there, since it was getting a bit late.

We waited for my name to be called, and then we followed one of the doctors to a room. We explained to her what happened, and she began to put her gloves on. "Well I wouldn't be too worried. Bleeding occurs in early stage pregnancy plenty of times. Usually, it just means that the embryo has been placed on the uterus lining." She said. "But I just want to make sure everything is okay, so you and your husband can go home peacefully." She said, looking at George when she said husband, and she suddenly recognized who was in her office. "He's not my hu-" "G-George Harrison?" She said in shock, and George smiled. "Yeah, that's me name."

"Ahh I love your group so much!" She stated. She must've missed the paper recently. "Are you sure that you're pregnant?" She asked and I nodded. I took a three pregnancy tests, and they all came out positive. And I was showing symptoms of it." She asked me to remove my pants, which I did, and she had to use her fingers to look for the embryo, which was NOT fun at all. She had a worried look on her face. She pulled her fingers out and noticed how much I was bleeding. "You're bleeding a lot more than normal... Have you experienced cramping or pain?"

I nodded, and George's eyes widened. "Ye never said anything!" I gulped. "Because I thought it was just the baby! I didn't think it was serious!" "Well I'm afraid it is." She took her gloves off and looked at me. Her tone made George and I look at her. "I'm afraid you've had a miscarriage." My eyes widened, and George looked as if his heart broke into a million pieces, like mine did. "A-Are you sure?" I asked and she nodded. "The other bleeding I was talking about was supposed to be spotting. Yours is leaking a bit on the heavier side. I'd say it's safe to say that you've had a miscarriage." She said, looking down. "I'm sorry."

I thanked her and got dressed. George and I walked back to the car and the drive back home was silent. Once we got back home, I got out of the car and broke down crying in front of the front door. George looked at me with a huge frown on his face and his eyes filled with sorrow. He hugged and held me as he began to cry softly. This couldn't be happening. Why us?

I slowly headed up the bedroom, when I passed by the room we began to prepare for the baby, and my eyes began to water. George walked over to the door and closed it. I took a shower and dragged myself to bed. George took a shower after me and soon joined me in bed. "What did I do wrong?" I bit my lip, trying to hold back tears. "It's not yer fault! Things like that happen." Even though he tried to cheer me up, I still felt as if I messed up. I never felt so horrible in my life.
