We had been driving for a little while, so I decided to take a small nap.
But when George woke me up and helped me out of the car, I looked around at my surroundings. We were somewhere over the in the woods, by a cliff. Beneath it was a view of the city, and behind us was a small cabin.
"Come." He held my hand and took me inside of it. It was gorgeous in its own way, and very cozy. "What's going on? How long were you planning this?" I asked, and he just flashed a smile at me.
"Hurry! We are going to miss it!" "Miss what?" I asked, and he grabbed a basket and headed outside. He opened the blanket that was on the basket and spread it across the ground. "Sit." He said as he sat down on the blanket and grabbed my arm. I sat next to him and realized why he was in such a rush.
The sun was beginning to set over the view, and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, besides George's naked body of course. I gasped as I took in the scene, and George's arm slipped around my waist. "I'm glad ye like it." He whispered into my ear, which sent shivers down my back.
"Are ye hungry? I brought sandwiches!" He said, turning his attention towards the basket and away from me. "Um... sure." He handed me a sandwich and took one for himself. "Do ye remember when we went skinny dipping?" He said before he took a bite of his snack. "Yeah I do." I giggled softly as memories of it rushed back into my head.
"Y'know, when ye first walked into the studio that day and fell at the front door, I didn't think we would end up married and parents to a lovely baby girl." He took a sip of some water from a bottle he had and looked over at me. "Yeah, and I didn't think that my face would meet the floor on the first day of work either. Sh*t happens." I laughed softly and he kissed my cheek.
We began to reminisce about other things that we've been through throughout the years, including the breakup for 4 years, and what we did in that time period. "We've been through a lot of things the last couple of years..." He said softly and kissed my hand. "And can't wait to see what the rest of our years look like." "Well knowing you, I'm not sure what to expect. You're a man of surprises." I rested my head on his shoulder and his arm moved higher onto my waist, and his head rested on top of mine as we watched the sunset.
Once the sun fully set, we cleaned up and headed back into the cabin. "Thanks for all this. I honestly had fun." I said, and George kissed my lips. "I'm glad ye did. Next time I bring ye here, we are staying for a weekend, or maybe a few days more." He sat down on the couch and I sat on his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I don't understand why yer still with someone like me when ye could have someone so much better, and could treat ye so much better than I can." George looked down at my thigh, as he placed his hand there and rubbed it.
"I don't want anyone else. If I did, I would've left already." I said in a joking manner, but also kind of meant it. "But I love you, George. Anything that happens, we go through it together. So you're not perfect. No one is. I didn't expect anything different. But I don't want anyone else but you." I kissed his lips passionately, and he returned the kiss.
"Yer perfect." He said softly, and I laughed as our foreheads rested against each other's. "I'm not perfect, George and you know that." My laugh's volume increased, and he smiled. "Name something that ye think makes you imperfect." He said, rubbing my cheek. "Well you know what spicy food does to me." George laughed loudly and covered his nose. "Yeah Who could forget that smell?" I playfully hit his arm. "Shut it." We both continued to laugh, and I kissed his cheek.
"Your turn." I said to him, and he thought about it for a little. "There are so many things I could think of. I do drugs sometimes, even though I've learned to control it. But thank ye for leaning me off cigarettes. I really appreciate and love ye for that. Also, I'm silly and can be clumsy sometimes." He chuckled nervously. "This isn't news to me. I've noticed all of that." We talked more and discussed what George's future plans were, and we didn't notice how much time was flying by.
"George, it's 2 AM. I think we should head back. I miss Zo." I said, getting up from his lap. "Me too, love. Let's go home." We got up and I grabbed my things and headed to the car. George double checked everything and joined me in the car. I turned on the music as we began driving.
"I wonder how Ringo is doing with Zo." I said, which made George seem more relaxed. "Ringo is great with kids, they are fine." He eases my anxiety as I relaxed on our journey home.
"Hello?" I asked as we entered the quiet house. "Ringo?" George asked as we looked around, but saw that all the lights were off and it was quiet on the first floor. We headed to the second one, and saw the light in one of the guest rooms on. "There He is." I said, and went to the room and opened the door. "Ringo?" I asked, but gasped when I saw naked Ringo and Barbara laying on top of the sheets, Barbara covered in semen.
Once the door opened, they looked over at us, and Barbara let out a scream as she got up and ran to the bathroom associated with the room. "S-Sorry!" I said, and backed out of the room to give Ringo some space. "Well, I didn't see that coming." George said, before laughing. We gave them some time to fix themselves up before going to talk to them, but in the meantime, I went to check up on Zuri who was sleeping peacefully in her crib, and Cleo slept on the floor next to the crib. The sight of it made me smile, and I left the room again.
"I'm sorry, guys!" Ringo said, stumbling out of the guest room with Barbara. Her eyes met mine, and she quickly looked down. "I'm so sorry, Brielle. Please don't be mad." I laughed and pulled her into a hug. "It's alright! Why would I be mad? What you do in your personal life is none of my concern! I just wish it wasn't in my house." I chuckled, and she smiled at me. "Thank you."
George exited his office and called for me, so I went to him. "What's up?" I asked, and he looked around his office. "Have ye seen me new song?" I shook my head. "No, but I do think you brought it to the cabin earlier." "Ahh I need that. I'm going to go grab it." "Ooh let me come!" He smiled and nodded. "Alright, let's go." We headed towards the front door and Ringo and Barbara watched us. "George left something important, so we are going to go grab it."
"Alright, Bye!" They said as they waved to us. We left the house and began driving back to the cabin. "George, pay attention." I said, watching as he fiddled with the radio. "Don't worry, I got it." The radio played a song that he liked , and he listened to it. "BEEEEEP!" A car honked at us as it sped down the wrong side of the road. George quickly tried to swerve out of the guy's way, but the guy must've had the same idea.
"BOOM!"
That's all I could remember before everything went black.
