Beep. Beep. That was all I heard before I opened my eyes to a bunch of bright lights. "Damn..." I mumbled before waiting for my eyes to adjust to the light, then I sat up and noticed someone was holding my hand. "Hey, Brielle." I was greeted by George, who looked tired and stressed. He probably hasn't slept in a while.

"What am I doing here?" I looked around at the hospital room. "Ye passed out in the bath 2 days ago." I looked at him with confusion. "I've been out for 2 days?" He nodded. "The doctors say your stress levels and heart rate are extremely high and caused your body to kind of shut down." He sat back in his chair. "This is all my fault." He sighed, and held his face in his hands. He looked more stress than I felt.

I reached for his hand and kissed it. "Calm down, Geo." Hearing his nickname from my lips made him smile. "I'm ruining me own life." He chuckled, but I can hear the hurt in his voice. He looked at me as if I was supposed to tel him we was wrong, but he wasn't. And I wasn't going to lie to him. "What? You are. You decided to cheat on me. That was a choice." He looked down at his hands and shook his head.

"Yer right. I'm sorry. I shouldn't be here." "George, you messed up, but just give me some time." He rested his head on my lap and began to cry softly. "I hate being so lonely. Cleo and I miss you." I did miss Cleo a lot. He looked at the wall and stood up. "Please don't leave, George." I pleaded, and he looked at me.

"Alright." He sat back down next to me and stroked my hand softly and rested his head on mine. "I'm not going back home without ye." Mimi, Jace and Ruth walked in with Zuri, and their eyes lit up. "Hey, Brielle! How are you feeling?" They checked up on me and we talked, before the doctor came in. "You're doing a lot better than 2 days ago." He smiled at me, and checked my heart rate. "I think you're ready to go home." He took the stethoscope out of his ears and smiled. "But I recommend that you stay in bed for a while and get some rest. Stay with someone to help you. Your stress levels are too high. Maybe a vacation or just taking a break would be great."

I thanked him and he discharged me. Thankfully, Ruth has brought me some clothes, which I changed into. "So who are you going with?" Jace said, as George took Zuri from him. I looked at my friends, then back at George, who looked like he was going to pass out at any second.

"I'll go with George and Zuri." "Are you sure?" Mimi asked, and I nodded. "He needs me." They looked at him and nodded. "Don't do anything you'll regret." Jace whispered to him and they left. "Take me to their house so I can get Zuri's and my things." He agreed and took me their, and Mimi helped me bring my things to the car. "Call me if you need anything." I hugged her and George, Zuri and I went back with them.

Once we got inside, I gasped. It was a bit of a mess. The place was unkept. Zuri has fallen asleep on the way home, so George took her to her bedroom that we prepared for her when I was pregnant, and put her in the crib. I haven't been in the room since we painted it, and it brought back so many memories.

Something was different, though. I realized that when I was walking around, there were huge pictures of George, Zuri and I hanging on the walls. They were gorgeous. Cleo barking snapped me out of my thoughts as she ran over to me and jumped. "Hi, Cleo!" I kneeled to her height and petted her as she licked my face. "We missed ye." George said from behind me, and I looked at him with a small smile on my face.

George went out to his garden, and began to meditate, which he said he did everyday since I left. As he did that, I began to clean around the house, and it looked so much better when I finished. "What are ye doing?" He looked at me in a panicked way. "I was just cleaning the house a bit." "Yer supposed to be in bed, relaxing!" He took my hand, which sent shivers through me. His touch never failed to do that. He took me to the bedroom and laid me down on the bed. "Just relax, Brielle."

"I'm going to at least change my clothes." I went to my closet, which was left untouched, and I put some more comfortable clothes on, and got back into bed. "I'm so glad ye decided to come back home." George rested his head against my shoulder, and I couldn't help but wrap my arms around him.

"Do ye forgive me for what I did?" Honestly, I knew I couldn't stay mad at him. I loved him. Way too much. And I desperately missed him and needed him. "Yeah. I forgive you. But if you ever cheat on me again, I will definitely divorce you." I looked at him with sincerity, and he knew I wasn't lying. "Don't worry. I've learned me lesson. I won't ever cheat again. It broke me when you left. When I came back to the hotel after the concert and saw yer's and Zuri's stuff gone, I cried so hard. I just want me family. And I want us to be a happy family. No one messing with it."

"You can have that. But you have to be faithful to us." "I know. And I will from now on." He kissed my hand with the wedding ring, then placed a passionate kiss on my lips. "I love ye so much, Brielle." "I love you too, George."
