The alarm woke us up the next morning, and we got ready as we usually did.

"Are ye ready?" He asked once he came out of the bathroom and got dressed, as I finished getting ready and fed Zuri. "Yup." He looked at me and kissed my cheek. "Always looking gorgeous." He patted my bum before going to put his clothes on.

"Are you nervous?" I asked fixing his shirt and tie. "A little. I still haven't gotten used to the idea of being on the tele after all these years." He chuckled nervously, and I kissed his cheek. "Thanks, love." He grabbed his blazer and threw it on. "George?" I asked, while preparing a bag for Zuri just in case. "Yes?" "Do I not pleasure you enough? Is that why you still fancy other women, like Maureen?"

I know he wanted me to let it go, but I couldn't. Not until I knew the whole truth. He remained silent, but I knew what his answer was. "Oh. Okay." A bit of tension filled the air, but watching the time, I continued to get ready. "Well come on then. We don't have all day." I grabbed my bag and fixed Zuri's dress on her, then looked at George.

When we had everything, we left the hotel suite and got into a car that was waiting for us

When we had everything, we left the hotel suite and got into a car that was waiting for us.  The car ride was just pure silence, and it was awkward and tense silence. George looked over at Zuri and I, but remained quiet. "I didn't mean to upset you or anything, Geo. I was just asking. You don't even know how much you hurt me when I found out."

He sat back in his seat and looked down. "I know. And I'm really sorry. It really is all me fault." He placed his hand onto my knee and I held it. "It's alright. I'm willing to move forward, just as long as you don't do it again."

We soon got to the studio, where the Dick Cavett Show was being filmed. George's fans apparently knew we would be coming, so when we got there, we were greeted by thousands of screaming fans and paparazzi. "My gosh..." I said softly, and our chauffeur, Jim, looked outside. "We're gonna have to go through the back." He drove towards a back entrance and we were cleared by security. "Come on!" Jim said, and George quickly grabbed a hold of Zuri's car seat and quickly got out.

I opened my door to get out, and George held his hand out to me to help me out of the car. "Thanks." I blushed softly and got out. I even heard a few "awe's" coming from the crowd of people outside the gate.

George let go of my hand for a quick second and waved and blew kisses to the fans, then he held my hand again, and we made our way backstage. We ran into Dick Cavett, and he greeted us with a warm smile. "Hey George and Brielle! Glad you could make it! Let me show you to your dressing room!" He headed towards a dressing room that had George's name on it, and smiled. "We start in an hour! Can't wait!" He waved at us once more before we entered the dressing room.

"George!" A name called out, and George went to see who it was. "Hello, Ravi!" They hugged, and he came into the dressing room and hugged me as well. "I'm glad ye could make it!" George said, sitting down with him. "I wouldn't miss it!" Ravi said, looking at Zuri and smiling and waving at her. They began to catch up before a producer called for Ravi and he exited the room.

A knock came from the door, and George opened it. "Hi. I'm here to do your makeup for the show..." She said shyly, and George let her in. "Well it's nice to meet ye. I'm George." His tone and overall vibes just changed, and I wanted to just slap him right then and there, but I held back.

"I'm Barbara, and it's so Nice to meet you! I've been a fan of you and The Beatles for the longest." How could she have been a fan? She looks like a baby! "Thank ye so much." He sat down in front of the mirror in the room as she began to do his makeup, which just included a little bit of powder and fixing his hair a bit. When she finished, she gave him a shy smile and looked at his reflection. "That was quick." He said, looking into the mirror. "Well your features are so gorgeous, I didn't need to do much." A blush appeared on her face, and he smiled at her. "Thanks, love."

I could feel my heart pounding in my chest with jealousy and anger.

"5 minutes!" One of the producers shouted to George from outside the door and George stood up. "Wish me luck." He placed a quick kiss on my lips and kissed Zuri's forehead. "Daddy will be back." Barbara watched and a slight frown appeared on her face. Serves her right. Keep your eyes and hands to yourself, little girl. Anyway, George thanked Barbara for the makeup and quickly made his way out of the room.

The room was awkward for a bit as Barbara packed her makeup. She looked at me a couple of times nervously and I smiled at her. "I'm Brielle." I walked up to her and shook her hand. She began to smile softly and shook my hand back. Yeah she definitely pissed me off when she first walked in, but she just seemed so shy, young and sweet, and I felt for her. "I wasn't trying anything with your husband, ma'am. I just really appreciate him." "I know. It's alright. I just want to see your work. I'm looking for someone to help a friend of mine who does makeup at my next photo shoot." Her eyes lit up and she smiled.

"You want me to do it?" I nodded and she pulled me in for a hug. "T-Thank you! I recently got this job, but the extra money on the side would definitely help!" "Help?" "Oh yeah...I'm- I've been living in my car... I can't afford school, so Makeup was the next best thing." Her eyes filled up with tears and I felt as if I was going to cry. "I'm so sorry, love!" I hugged her and rubbed her back. "When you come to work with me, I'll make sure your staying arrangements are good enough for you." "Thank you!" She said happily, and we exchanged numbers, before we sat down and talked to each other and got to know each other.

After a while, I heard George performing and I stood up. "I know you want to go see George, so sorry for bothering you!" She grabbed her makeup, and I chuckled. "You didn't bother me at all!" We said farewell to each other and waved and she exited the room. "Well Zuri, lets go see your dad." I picked her up from her seat and headed towards the backstage.
