"Yeah I went back to him! He doesn't ignore me and he talks things out with me."
"Even though it doesn't seem as if the two of ye don't do much talking." George joked to himself.
"I'm glad you think this is funny." I headed towards the staircase, but George grabbed my arm. "We aren't done talking about this." He brought me over to the main room and sat me down on the couch.
"So now you want to talk to me?" I rolled my eyes.
"I was upset! Can ye blame me? I just got cheated on!"
"Welcome to the club!" I dramatically clapped for him. We continued to argue until a voice stopped us completely.
"Mommy? Daddy? No fighting." Zuri said after she slowly descended down the stairs and walked over to us.
We didn't realize how loud we were yelling at each other that it woke babygirl up.
"Mommy and Daddy aren't fighting. We were just having a disagreement. But it's over now." George held her in his arms before glaring angrily at me.
"Let's go to bed." He picked her up and carried her to her room. When he had finished putting her back to bed, he went straight to the bedroom, closing the door behind him and leaving me alone in the living room.
And I didn't want to deal with him, so I used my coat to keep me sort of warm as I leaned over on the couch and fell asleep.
The next morning was worse than I anticipated. I woke up to the smell of breakfast. George has made some for himself and Zuri, while warming up a bottle for Danny.
"Good morning." I massage my sore back from the uncomfortable couch.
"Good morning, mommy!" Zuri said as I walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning, babe." I kissed her forehead and went over to George to kiss his cheek, but he pushed me away. I hoped that maybe he would've eased up, but I guess not.
It seemed as if he didn't want to eat near me so instead of having breakfast with them, I went upstairs and took a shower and got dressed. When I finished, George finished dressing up Zuri.
I headed to the kitchen to make myself breakfast when Zuri came up to me. "Bye mommy!" She hugged my legs before looking up at me.
"Where are you going?"
"Out with Daddy and Danny."
I looked at George, who was putting Danny in the stroller.
"You didn't tell me you were going out." I chuckled, making it seem happier than usual for Zuri's sake, but George, once again, completely ignored me.
"Can I come?"
"Ooh! Mommy come! Mommy come!" Zuri chanted at George.
"Mommy can't come. She's busy today." He picked up Zuri and kissed her cheek. "But we're going to have fun today." And with that, he left with them. Without saying a word to me.
Fine. If George wants to be like that, then he can be like that. I'm not going to stop living because of him. So I ate breakfast and Simon called me so I stopped by the studio to get some pictures done.
George still wasn't back by the time I came back, so I decided to surprise him. He wasn't exactly happy with me right now, but this might change his mind.
I put on something sexy, but not too much.
He entered the house and came straight into the room. When he saw me, he stopped in his tracks at the door.
"Hey George." I smiled softly, greeting him by the door and kissing his cheek. He didn't push me off that time.
"Where's Danny and Zuri?"
"Danny is sleeping in Zuri's old crib and Zuri is over at Olivia's. I wanted her to come home with me but she was having too much fun with Aunt Liv. So Liv told me she would bring her home when she's done."
Zuri was having too much fun with "AUNT LIV?"
"Olivia? You went over to her house?" I cringed and George nodded.
"I know I messed up, but jeez.... Olivia? Really?" I walked back over to the bed and sat down on it. "What's happening to us?" I looked at him as he sat on the other side of the bed, his back towards me.
"I think we've fallen out of love."
My eyes widened as I turned towards him. "No I haven't."
"Then why did ye cheat on me? Twice? Was it payback?"
"No! I don't know why I did it. But believe me. It won't happen again. I promise."
I crawled across the bed and placed my arms around his neck from behind. "I still love you, Geo. I'm only in love with you."
He pulled my arms off of him and got up. "Yeah. Sure." He looked over at my barely covered body and sighed as he walked into the bathroom.
I'm not giving up yet.
"George, please believe me." I opened the bathroom door and looked at him.
"Out of all people, I believed that I could trust ye. I trusted ye with every fiber of me being. But I was wrong. Yer just as bad as anyone that's every betrayed me."
I could hear my heart shatter inside my chest.
"Ye hurt me, Brielle. And yes I had affairs behind yer back. But receiving that back? It hurts. Knowing that some other man has touched ye. Has kissed ye. Has been inside of ye. I can't handle it. It makes me angry." He looked down into my eyes as he stroked my cheek softly with his thumb.
"What are we going to do?" I asked, before he removed his hand away from my face.
"I don't know. I think it's best if we separate. We aren't in love anymore."
"I'm in love with you, Geo." I held his hands in mine while maintaining our eye contact.
"We can't be together anymore, Brielle. It's over. We were in love, but not anymore."
