So I was still feeling the depression from the miscarriage, but I was a lot better than I was 2 weeks ago. The bleeding had pretty much stopped, and signs of the miscarriage had ceased. The mental and physical toll that the miscarriage took on me was a lot, but George was extremely helpful with it when he could.

You see, George was releasing a new album soon so he was spending a lot more time in the studio and with his good friend Ravi Shankar, which I had the pleasure of meeting a few days ago. So while he was getting ready to go to the studio, I decided to go to my doctor to make sure that the miscarriage was completely over, which she confirmed. She also told me since it was over, I was now able to get back to my normal sex routine and things like that. I couldn't wait to get back home and tell George the news.

But I didn't know if I was ready to get pregnant again soon. I thought something was wrong with my uterus and didn't want to risk anything.

I walked into the house and was greeted by George. "How was it?" He asked eagerly, and I caught him up with everything. "Mmh that's great! But we can wait as long as ye want before we have sex again." He leaned against the kitchen counter and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I'm just 'appy to see ye back to the way you were before all of this. I missed this version of ye. Depressed Brielle was no fun." He joked, which made me laugh a bit. "Grumpy George isn't exactly a fun time either." I snapped back and he smiled. "I just love seeing' ye like this." He kissed my cheek and I blushed.

"I couldn't have gone through it without you." I hugged him tightly and he kissed my head as he hugged me back. "We're in this togetha." He emphasized, and it sunk in. I'll definitely remember that now. The phone rang, which grabbed George's attention, and he ran off to answer the phone. While he did that, I looked through my work schedule at the zoo, which I recently got hired at, and studied it so I knew when I had to be there.

"Ahh Brielle, I'm going to be in the studio if ye need me." He placed a kiss on my lips and ran of to the studio. While he was there, I headed to work helping and saving animals at the zoo.

And after work, I headed home to just relax. When I got there, I noticed George wasn't back yet, so I decided to take this time for myself. I ate some snacks then chose to take a nice, long bath. So I headed towards the bedroom, and then my eyes landed on the baby's room next to ours. I took a deep breath and entered the room, and I looked around at it, memories of the day we painted it coming back into my head. It's so sad that our baby would never be able to enjoy the room. Great, thinking that way makes me want to cry. But I didn't want to cry, so I quickly left the room and headed to the bathroom to take my bath, which felt amazing.

"Brielle?" George's voice called out as he came into the bathroom and saw me in the bath. "Yeah?" I responded, and he smiled as he quickly stripped and hopped into the bath with me. "I was looking for ye, that's all." He placed his arm around me as I rested my head on his chest. "Do you want to have another child with me?" I asked him and he nodded. "Of course I do." I wanted to give myself some time after the miscarriage, but I was so eager to give George a child since he was so happy about the last one.

"We can wait until yer ready. I don't want to rush ye." He rubbed my shoulder and I bit my lip, as I thought about what to say. "I want to give you a child as soon as possible since you were so excited about the last one." I said softly and he turned my head to look at his. "If that's what ye want, then I'll do it. If yer not sure, I can wait." What do I want to do? I thought about it for a little while, and I looked at him. "Alright, I guess I'll wait."

After our bath, George dried off and got dressed quickly before leaving to go somewhere. "George! Where are you going?" I asked as I dried off and got dressed. "Stay here." He said before exiting the room. I sighed and sat on the bed, waiting for him to return. He soon returned with a beautiful black poodle puppy in his arms. My eyes widened and his smile began to spread. "I thought you'd need a friend after the last 2 weeks and when I'm at the studio." The dog panted excitedly as I took her and stroked her fur. "Her name is Cleo." He said, as I noticed the collar and I hugged George.

"Thank you so much! I petted her fur and George patted her head. "She was abandoned. I just had to take her because I know you love dogs, especially poodles." He informed me as I patted her fur. "I could never thank you enough, Geo." I kissed him and he showed me an open area in the house that had he set up for her. I didn't even understand how I didn't see that before. But she seemed to be acquainted already. She ran up to her dog bed and quickly laid on it and fell asleep.

"She's trained, right?" I asked and George nodded. "Yeah. They trained her at the shelter." He said as we headed back to bed. "I love ye so much, Brielle." He mumbled as he held me tightly and fell asleep. "I love you too, Geo." I mumbled and quickly slept after.
