"You know, Yoko sat in that chair." "Ugh.." George said as he got up from the seat, making the audience, including me, laugh. Even though I was backstage, Just seeing him in front of everyone and doing interviews reminded me of how funny and handsome he is, and how lucky I really am.
I put Zuri down and she stood next to me, and held on to my hand and dress for support. "Dada!" She said, and I looked at her. "We have to be a bit quieter, love." I whispered to her, but she didn't seem to care. "Dada!" She said again. "Brielle!" I heard someone say in a whispered tone. "Hi, Ringo." I said softly as he hugged me.
Zuri's hand slipped out of mine, and by the time I looked down to help her, she was crawling out onto the set! "Zuri!" I gasped, and went to grab her, but she was already in front of the cameras, and everyone was looking at her. The crowd filled with "Awe's" and it captured George's attention. He followed their eyes and his eyes widened when he saw Zuri. He got up to pick her up, but she pulled herself up and stumbled, but walked up to George without holding anything. She just took her first steps on TV.
Ringo and I watched in shock, and George looked pretty shocked as well. "Good gal!" He said as she walked into his arms and he picked her up, and sat down in his seat, placing her on his lap. "This is me daughter, Zuri. She decided to take her first steps on TV." He laughed softly, everyone just watched in awe. Loud "awwww's" were heard inside the whole studio, and Zuri smiled. "She looks like you. A bit like your wife, Brielle, but very much like you." Dick said, which made George smile.
"Speaking of your wife, she's here today, right? Everyone, please welcome Brielle Harrison!" Dick announced and my eyes widened. I had no clue that I would be on the show. I fixed my face and placed a smile on it as I walked out from backstage and waved at everyone. Cheers erupted from the room and it made me blush. I didn't think that people knew I existed. Then again, when in a relationship with someone as famous as George, people find out regardless. I greeted Dick and sat next to George.
The crowd awe'd again as they saw George, Zuri and I sitting with each other on set. "We have a family package today." Dick chuckled softly and looked at me. "So Brielle, I saw the new pictures that are in the magazines of you. You look great, doesn't she?" He asked the crowd and they all cheered. "Thank you! I really appreciate it." I said, and they showed the crowd the pictures. Some guys whistles and "ooh"-ed, and George smiled at me, holding my hand. I held his and blushed more at the response. " 'Eh! She's mine! Get yer own gal and stop drooling over mine!" He said, which made everyone laugh, even though I knew George wasn't fully joking.
The interview carried on, and soon, Ravi joined us on the set after he performed and continued with the interview.
It all went by pretty quickly, and after the interview, we headed back to the dressing room. "Ye were great, babe." He said, kissing me softly, and I returned the kiss. "Thanks. You were great too." I smiled, and we were interrupted by Ringo coming in. "Great job, guys! Great job to ye too, Zuri." He picked her up as showered her with playful kisses, which made her laugh.
A soft knock came from the door, and I opened it. "Brielle! You were great! I really enjoyed the interview!" Barbara said, and her eyes landed on Ringo, and when Ringo saw her, he stopped playing with Zuri and gave her a small smile. George and I looked at each other with knowing smirks, and I took her hand and led her over to Ringo. Her face was red, and I didn't know if she was nervous or ecstatic.
"Ringo, this is Barbara. I met her today, but I plan on having her work with me and have her on my makeup crew at our next photo shoot." His eyes lit up and he shook her hand. "I'm Richard. Starkey. Richard Starkey. Yeah, that's it. But call me Ringo." She smiled and bit her lip softly. "Barbara. Barbara Bach."
They shook hands and George called for Ringo, and the two of them walked out of the room. "George is good-looking or whatever, but Ringo is more my type." She licked her lips dramatically, and it made me laugh. "Well you'll be seeing more of him soon." She bit her lip and smiled. "I can't wait." Geo and Ringo came back into the room, and Ringo held his hand out. "Can I talk to ye in private?" He asked, and she nodded, and they both left the room.
"Well, Should we head back to the hotel?" He took his blazer off and stretched a bit. "That sounds nice." I said, getting ready to leave. "Or maybe Ringo can watch Zuri, and I take ye out." I thought about it for a second, and a smirk appeared on my face. "No, I'd rather go home. Remember when we actually used to go out and eat at restaurants but we wouldn't stay for over 5 minutes because someone always had something to say about me?" We began to reminisce about those times and we laughed softly.
"Then let's go home." Jim was outside smoking a cigarette, and when we went outside. "Ready?" He asked and we nodded. "Yup." He got in and Ringo walked over to us with Barbara. "We were going to grab a bite. Do you want to join us?" He asked, and I shook my head. "Geo and I are fine." I winked at Ringo and a huge smile spread across his face. "Alright. Bye guys." We waved at him, and he mouthed "thank you" to me. Then Jim carried on and drove us back to the hotel.
