The next couple of months were pretty slow. George had started writing new music, and I worked with him with his music.

But we were now closer than ever to having the baby. It could be any day now, and we were far more than excited. Adam helped us finish the baby's room as well, which was gorgeous now. Even Cleo was excited about the baby. Every time I would sit on the sofa, she would lay her head on my bump, which was so cute I might add.

This morning, I had woken up and taken a bath and got ready for the day. And as I got dressed, I looked over at the baby's crib next to our bed, and it made this whole situation so much more real to me. "I'm actually going to have a baby..." I mumbled to myself and bit my lip, trying to hide my smile. Once I got dressed, I met Geo in the kitchen. "Good morning." I kissed his cheek and he put his newspaper down. "Hey, are ye ready for today?" He asked and I squealed excitedly and nodded. "Yes! I can't wait!" I began to eat and he laughed at my reaction.

"I can't believe I'm having my own baby shower!" The doorbell rang, and I quickly answered it. "BRI!" I laughed happily as I hugged Mimi, Ruth and Jace. "HI! I'm so excited for this!" I answered and they looked around at the house in awe. "This place is huge!" Ruth said, and Mimi put her bag down. "I just invited myself to stay here for the next couple of days. I need to relax." I laughed at Mimi's comment, and Jace began to help Adam bring boxes of stuff into the house. "What's all this?"

"It's for the baby shower! We're doing it here!" George walked out from the kitchen and looked at them. "What's going on here?" He looked at the boxes then back at everyone else. "We're having the baby shower here!" Mimi said, as she ran up to George and gave him a tight hug. "I'm so happy for you both!" She said, and George looked at me and mouthed "Help!" To me, and I laughed.

We opened the boxes and began to set up the decorations they brought. Well I tried to, but George wrapped his arms around me and my bump and kissed my cheek. "I'll set up the decorations. Ye need to rest, love. We're not sure when India will come." "India?" He nodded. "Yeah, that's a name I thought of." It wasn't bad, but I wasn't too sure about that name. "How about Zuri? I heard that name on TV before, and I think it sounds amazing." Jace brought up, and I smiled at him. "That's a lovely name."

"What does it mean?" George asked him, and Jace wrapped his arm around George's shoulders. "Well because I know you, well I've heard things about you, I searched it up at the library. It's of Swahili origin and it means beautiful." George looked kind of impressed and his eyes landed on Jace. "I like it." Even without saying it, I think we agreed on it.

They continued to work on the decorations as Ruth and I headed to the kitchen for the food and prepared it. Last but not least, music and games. We were trying to figure out what games we could play, when I started feeling some pain in my back and stomach area. I was quiet about it, until it grew worse and worse. I've never felt anything like it.

"Brielle? Are you okay?" Mimi asked when she noticed that I didn't look fine. I shook my head and held my bump. "I'm in pain.." I managed to groan out through the pain. George quickly dropped the decorations he had in his hands and ran over to me. "Do ye want to lay down?" I nodded and go took me to the bedroom. "WHATEVER HAPPENS, JUST REMEMBER THAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE BABY AFTER THE BABY SHOWER!" Mimi yelled to me as I went up the stairs, and I laughed.

George helped me in the bed and my back felt better. "Thanks, Geo." He went back to help them as I fell asleep. Well I tried to anyway. Every once in a while, the pain would get really bad and I would wake up, then it would stop and I would go back to sleep. And after a couple of hours, the pain became more and the time between the pain was getting shorter and shorter. I got up and slowly stumbled back down the stairs. "How are ye feeling?" George said, as they all took me to the sofa.

"It's getting worse." I groaned as I began to feel some pain. "Let's take her to the hospital." Ruth suggested, and everyone agreed, including myself. George grabbed a few things while everyone else helped me to the car, George, Adam and I in ours, and the others in their car. We all drove to the hospital and I was admitted. I changed my outfit from what I was wearing to the hospital gown, which I hated being in. "I hate this..." I groaned, and George held my hand as he stood next to me. "I know, but our baby girl is coming." Those words encouraged me enough, and handled the pain to the best of my ability.

And right after all that, my water broke. It's go time. As calm as he seemed, I could tell he was nervous. But being the sweetheart he was, he helped me sit up and slightly massaged my back, which felt amazing. It helped take my mind off of the pain. And when he got tired, Adam would take his place. "I'm excited, but you really couldn't wait until after the baby shower?" I rolled my eyes playfully at her. "Unlike you, babies don't follow schedules." The pain grew intense with time, but I kept thinking about our little Harrison that would be born soon.

This was really happening. I'm going to have a baby.
