(I'm a little sick, but I'm gonna write anyway. Hope you enjoy!)

"I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You'll bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam, know our love is true!"

I sang as I danced around the kitchen, listening to George's new song as it played.

"I'm glad ye enjoy me song." He kissed my cheek as I put down the cleaning tools.

"It's great! It's been stuck in my head ever since you recorded it." I licked the icing on the cake I had baked a little while earlier, and was now finishing up.

George grabbed a spoon, and his hand was leading it towards the cake.

"Hey! You can't have any!" I moved his hand away and took the spoon out of his hand.

"I don't want to start the cake over because of you! You can't eat it because it's for Jace's engagement party."

George pouted and stared at the cake.

"No cake for you, Baba!" Zuri rushes into the kitchen and tried her best to push George away from the cake, but George scooped her up into his arms.

"Ahh ye have yer mothers attitude! I don't know how I feel about that." He mumbled as he blew raspberries on her cheek, making her laugh. And while he was occupied with her, I put the cake away in the fridge until Jace was able to come get it.

George took Zuri to the main room, and sat on the floor as he played with her and Danny.

Seeing my little family with George brought a huge smile on my face, but I couldn't help but feel like something was missing. And I couldn't figure out what it was.

And it's been something I've been thinking about lately. Something was just telling me that something was missing.

My eyes flickered between George, Zuri, Danny and Cleo. It was as if I was looking for something, unsure of what it was exactly.

"Are ye alright, Bri?" George's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, and I turned my attention to him. "Yeah I'm fine."

He left Zuri on the floor as he got up and walked over to. "Talk to me. Tell me what's wrong." He looked into my eyes, and I couldn't help but tell him what was going on in my head.

"I feel like something's missing."

"What do ye mean by that?"

"I don't know..."

A flashback to when we went with Pattie to the adoption agency replayed back in my head. That was it.

"I'm confused. What do Ye mean ye don't know?"

"I think I want to adopt a child."

"What?" My answer caught him off guard.

"I think I want to adopt. We could help someone who needs help and give them a new, better life."

George looked at me, a bit unsure of what to say, but his reaction soon changed.

"Sure."

"Not now though. I don't think I'm ready yet. But definitely soon."

"Well when yer ready, let me know." He kisses my forehead and pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm proud of ye, y'know?"

I couldn't help but blush as I continued to hug him and I kissed his cheek.

"Now I'm going to the studio, so if ye need me, I'll be there." He kisses my forehead before running towards Zuri and kissing her head.

"I wanna go with you, daddy." Zuri whined, and George stroked her hair.

"Alright, lets go." He began walking towards the studio as I watched them.

"Really, George? She barely asked and you just left with her." I laughed as I picked up Danny.

"She's me weakness." He laughed softly as he held her tightly, then continued on his way.

While George was in the studio, I decided to grab him some refreshments. On my way there, along with Zuri, Danny and Cleo, I recognized a car in the driveway that wasn't ours. So I automatically assumed that one of George's all-star friends.

I knocked before I entered the studio door slowly, and I smiled as I entered. But I paused when I heard two voices in the studio.

"Don't do this. This is a mistake."

"Really, George? Is it?"

I quickly opened the door. "Hi-"

Olivia's wide eyes looked back at me as she stepped back from George, who quickly looked at me as well.

"Hi Baba!" Zuri ran into the room and hugged George once he stepped away from Olivia. "Hi Auntie Liv!" She hugged Olivia, and I could feel the blood boiling in my body.

"Hi Zo! Hi Bri!" She smiled at me as she cleared her throat, glancing at George a few times.

"Don't give me that cr-" I glanced over at Zuri and didn't finish that last word.

"Get out."

"But George a-and I have work to discuss."

"I don't care. Leave. Now."

"I'm working with your husband on his pro-"

"No you're not. I'll help him out with whatever he needs. Get out. You're fired."

"You can't fire me!" She gasped, as she looked at George for help.

"But I can. Yer fired, Liv- Olivia." He corrected himself, and told Olivia, not looking at her.

"What?"

"I told Ye it wasn't going to 'appen, so stop trying. But ye won't let it go. I can't keep ye around." George said, sitting at the mixing desk of the studio, his back towards Olivia.

She ran out of the studio angrily, and George and I just stayed there in silence.

"Baba? Why is Aunt Liv upset?" She crawled into her dad's lap as she looked at the buttons mischievously.

"Ye'll understand when yer older." She sat comfortably in his lap.

"So yer not going to say anything?" George asked, finally turning to me and noticing the tears in my eyes.

"Why are you so gosh darn gorgeous? This is tiring!" I said, taking Danny and making my way back to the main room of the house, while wiping my tears.
