James' POV:

When I was in the mafia, anger was the main emotion I felt. So when I left the mafia behind, I promised to leave that life of rage and violence behind with it. But hearing my baby girl's voice full of broken sobs and soft cries enraged the beast I had locked away for years. There was no pain greater than hearing your loved ones cry, especially my daughter.

As soon as she had told me what he had done I vowed to make him pay. He broke my princess' heart and that's something I was not ok with.

Hanging up the phone call I let out a deafening roar and threw my fist into the nearest object.
Glass shattered all over the floor and blood trickled down my hand, but I didn't care. The shards that stuck in my skin didn't hurt me, but the sounds of my baby girl crying broke my heart in two.

"James! What the hell happened?" Isabella rushed out of our bedroom and stared from me to the floor with a shocked expression.

"I'm going to tear him apart for hurting her" I yelled out still in a fit of rage. Normally one stroke of Isabella's hand through my hair would calm me down, but there was no chance of calming down.

"Who? Who's hurt our baby?".

"Matthew" I growled lowly trying to reign in my shaky breaths.

"What? Are you sure?". Isabella was just as surprised as I was. Matthew was apart of the family. They were childhood sweethearts and he betrayed her in the worst way possible. He betrayed me after I entrusted him to look after my baby girl.

"She walked in on him screwing another woman on their sofa".

Isabella's sweet innocent face suddenly scrunched up and clenched her fists so tightly that they turned an unsightly pale colour.

"THAT BLOODY BASTARD. IM GOING TO CHOP HIS DICK OFF" she screamed. Isabella most of the time was sweet and gentle. But when you got her angry, she was terrifying.

Isabella rushed past me and grabbed the door handle.

"James, get me a pair of pliers".

I spun around to face my wife to see if she was joking, but there was no humour in her eyes.

"Woah, no. You are going to calm down".

I tried to calm her, but there was no hope.

"Are you serious. He cheated on her and you're gonna do nothing about it?" She screamed effectively scaring me.

"Baby, do you think I'm going to do nothing? I'm going to make him regret everything he ever did, but I need you to stay calm for Lily. I'm going to tell her to come here and you need to be there for her while I'm dealing with him".

Isabella sighed and nodded before picking up her phone.

"I'll call her and you deal with that bastard" Isabella mumbled before heading into the lounge with the phone to her ear.

Time to die boy.

"Hello Matthew. Can I come in please?" I asked with my fakest smile.

Matthew's mouth dropped and his skin paled as the person I knew he truthfully feared stood at his door not even half an hour after his daughter walked in on him and a slut.

"J-James, before you say anything"-

"I said can I come in" I growled as I shoved him back effectively pushing him to the ground.

His body shook as I stepped over him walking into the house my daughter once viewed as home.

"You might want to shut the door Matthew" I yelled out whilst slipping myself out of suit jacket and rolled my white shirt sleeves up so my tan arms were on show.

Matthew crept cautiously towards me with his eyes glued to the floor.

"So I had an interesting phone call from my daughter not long ago".

Matthew began to shake uncontrollably as I circled him like a shark with prey in the water.

"You see Matthew, she was in tears and told me something I never thought I'd hear. Do you know what she told me?".

"I-I".

Rushing over to him, I gripped his collar harshly and yanked him up so he was staring straight into my eyes.

"WHAT DID SHE TELL ME MATTHEW?".

"That I-I was with another woman" he sputtered out pathetically whilst trying to loosen himself from his grip.

Hearing him mention another woman that wasn't my daughter fuelled the rage bubbling inside me and I threw him across the room causing him to crash into expensive vases, but they were all invaluable compared to my daughter's happiness.

"I-I'm so sorry" he cried out as he held onto his bleeding head.

"Sorry? You're sorry? Bullshit. You aren't dumb Matthew. You knew what you were doing and you broke her heart. When you get married you vow to stay committed. You've completely destroyed her".

I rushed over to him and picked his bleeding body up by his collar holding my fist by his face.

"You promised me that you'd take care of her and make her happy every day. But you hurt her in the worst way possible and for that I will never forgive you. You don't deserve her. She deserves someone who will treasure her and love her unconditionally and that is not you".

"I should kill you for hurting my princess. But I won't because I'm not the same man I once was. Also I wanted you to live with what you've done".

Throwing my fist into his hideous face, he let out a scream as blood splattered across the floor.

Pretty sure I just heard a snap, but at this rate I couldn't tell as his face was coated with blood.

"Consider all our business deals, contracts cut. You are nothing but a piece of shit. In fact, I've got a better way of destroying you. I can easily jeopardise any deal you try and make with anyone. Good luck in the future jackass".

Throwing another punch, I threw him to the ground in frustration before storming away from the bloody mess and slamming the front door shut behind me.

Pulling out my phone, I stared down at the screen to see 5 missed calls from Isabella.

Pressing her contact, I held the phone to my ear and stared round at the almost street.

"James! Thank god".

"Baby you Ok?".

"Yes I'm fine" she sighed.

"Then what's wrong? Is it Lily?".

"James, I've tried to ring her at least 7 times, but she's switched her phone off".

My heart started to thump furiously as Isabella carried on talking.

Lily never switched her phone off. We had no way of finding her and bringing her home.

"Shit" I yelled as I thumped the car.

Part of me knew that she was ok. Maybe she just wanted to shut everyone out. But I still had an uneasy feeling.

Just as I unlocked the car, I noticed a blacked out SUV parked on the other side of the road from the house. It wasn't there before I arrived.

Strange.
