Lily's POV:
"That was an amazing movie, thanks for the popcorn, tickets and drinks".
"You're welcome kitten, hey I was just wondering if you wante"-
"Can I just answer this" I muttered staring down at the screen of my phone with my mum's contact name flashing.
"Of course" Alexander stared at me with concern as I accepted the call and held it to my ear.
"Hey".
"L-Lily".
"Mum? What's wrong?" My heart began to pound hearing her sniffle and sob. She could barely breathe.
"Y-your dad, h-he's"-
"Mum? Where are you?" I spoke frantically into the phone.
"T-The hospital" she sobbed.
"I'm c-coming". I ended the phone call and slipped my phone shakily into my pocket.
"Kitten, what's wrong?" Alexander brushed a strand of hair out of my face and stroked his finger against my cheeks that were now being stained with tears.
"S-something's happened to my dad. He's in hospital" I felt the air leave my lungs and my vision began to get blurry.
I felt Alexander grab my hand and pull him the same direction as him.
"I'll drive you. It's going to be okay kitten".
"C-can you stay with me?".
"Of course I can baby".
I felt butterflies burst inside my stomach hearing him call me that one word which always made me melt, but I didn't care. Something happened to my dad. It had to be bad for mum was in her inconsolable state.

"Where is my dad's room, his name is James Richardson" I demanded slamming my hand on the hospital desk.
"Ma'am I'm going to have to ask you calm down. You're going to have to fill in a"-
"No! I'm not going to fill anything in, I'm his daughter. Where is he?".
"I'm sorry I must"-
"I think the lady said she's not signing anything. You've got 3 seconds to tell us before I sue this hospital". The woman at the desk paled and nodded shakily.
"I, er, let me just check".
I stared up at Alexander with tears stinging at my eyes, his jaw clenched tightly seeing the tears pouring down my cheek.
"He is on the 4th floor in the Chestnut Ward".
The lady pointed to the elevator and gestured is that way.
"That was easy wasn't it" I grumbled before storming away from her not in the mood to be pushed. Alexander trailed behind me cautiously.
Pressing the button for the lift, it thankfully opened up and we walked inside. Alexander placed a hand on my back and rubbed circles into it easing my tense body.

"Let's go kitten".
Stepping out onto the 4th floor, I slowly walked towards the chestnut ward doors staring at the busy nurses and doctors rushing around.
Pressing the buzzer, I waited for a voice and told them who I was wanting to visit. The door opened and Alexander and I walked in.
I stared round nervously not sure as to what state I'd find my dad.
