Chapter 30: Baby's home

Alexander's POV:

"Lily!" James cried out before running over and crushing her in a bear hug. Lily sniffled and giggled as she embraced her dad before whispering things in his ear. Tears fell down her cheek as her eyes landed on mine. I was pretty good at recognising emotions in people eyes, especially fear. But she was looking at me with a relief and happiness. She was home.

I had a million and 1 questions to ask her, but that would have to wait. All I wanted to do was embrace my girlfriend.

I stood at leaning against the door frame with my arms crossed against my chest smiling at my girl as she slowly pulled away from her father.

"Alexander? What are you doing here?". She slowly walked around James and headed straight to me.

"I was worried about you, so I stayed here waiting for you to come back home".

Lily stopped right in front of me and looked up. Our height was quite different, but I liked it all the same.

Before she could say another word, I wrapped my arms around her and crashed her petite body into mine. I felt my unsteady heart relax as soon as her familiar perfume hit my senses. She smelt like home. Even though she wasn't gone for that long, seeing her taken away in the police car and the thought of her being locked up for years made my blood boil. At least she was now here, in my arms and that is where she will remain.

"Don't move, I'll call your mother".

James rushed past us and ran into their bedroom before shutting the door behind him.

"Now that your dad has gone, I can do this".

Lily's eyes widened as my words sunk in and before she could say anything or protest, I crashed my lips against hers and cupped her cheeks showing her with my mouth how much I missed her and how glad I am that she's back with me.

I could hear her mumbling and pushing at my chest, but it only spurred me on more. Gripping her hip tightly with one hand, I let my other roam down to her butt and gave it a good squeeze. She let out a squeal and like a beast, I took the opportunity to slip my tongue in and kiss her with such passion that would make my kitten weak at the knees.

Finally my little kitten pulled away and playfully slapped my chest.

"Alexander! My dad could walk through any minute!" She whispered attempting to be stern, but looking cuter than ever.

"And your other daddy wants to play with his little kitten".

She lifted her arm up and gently tapped me on my cheek.

"You're disgusting" she mumbled before turning away in a huff.

"And you're mine" I growled back wrapping my arms around her waist and tugged her back against my body.

Lily spun around in my arms and stared at me with a wicked smirk. She cocked her head to the side and placed her hands on her hips.

"You wanna bet?".

"Do not test me kitten or I'll take you against the wall. And I will not stop if your dad walks in"-

"Baby!".

Fuck. My little kitten is such a tease and now I've got a damn boner in front of her fucking parents.

Ensuring Lily was stood in front of me, I smiled innocently at Lily's parents who came rushing out of their bedroom. Lily ran up to her mother and gave her the tightest hug. Her mum cried silently as she held her daughter just as tight.

I looked over at James only to see him staring straight at me with a slight frown on his face as if he could sense what I was doing with his daughter not even seconds ago.
