Chapter 7

Melissa's POV
     The first four to go back was Chris, Stephen, Grant, and Carlos. They all came out and this was a repeating process with the boys. The first four girls were Anna, Chyler, Caity and I. I headed back to the dressing rooms and I put on my dress. It was tighter than I imagined and I knew we couldn't hide it much more. When we all walked out to the front of the room there was silence. All eyes went on Anna and her scare. She got flustered and she ran back to the dressing room. Her scare was pretty noticeable and that scared the casts of the other shows. I knew you could see her scare, but I didn't think the casts would react like that. They weren't judging her. They were just in shock. It wasn't a little scare it was a big one right across her stomach. When she ran off. I looked straight into Chris' eyes and I could tell he felt the same way. I ran after her and Chris started after me but Chyler stopped him and she and Caity and I ran after her. We found her crying in her dressing room and huddled up in the corner. I told them to let me go in first and just by looking at her I knew what was going through her mind. I sat down next to her and Izzy was there her head in her lap. She cuddled into me and kept asking me.
Anna: Why did it have to be me? Why do I have this huge ugly scare across my stomach? Why was it my parents who died? Why did it have to be me?
Melissa: I don't know honey, but no matter what you will always have me and your dad. The guys out there weren't judging you they just didn't expect you to have that big of a scare. They didn't mean to freak you out. I have never told anyone this before, but I have a on the right side of my stomach. I got this scare when someone hit me and I fell down a set of stairs. I was in way better shape than you but I didn't get out of there scare free. I was incredibly scared to show my scare but I think we should not be afraid anymore. All the little girls that have scares are going to look up to you and want to show there scares off to. So I want you to put your head high and walk out there.
Anna: Okay
     We get up and head out to the whole cast. Chris walked over to us and gave us both a hug. We ended up taking a picture with all of us flaunting our scares. The CW later posted it on instagram and captioned it: We all have scares but if we all are proud of it, it doesn't matter how they got there. That post ended up trending on Instagram and that made the day a little sweeter. Before we left we still had to get fit for our outfits. In the end Anna took the cut a little lower to show off more of her scare from her heart surgery. We were about to head back to the dressing rooms when Anna mentioned that I look really pregnant in that dress. Then Avery let it slip
Avery: Mommy the baby looks really big in that dress.
Caity: Um did she just say what I thought she said.
Willa: Yes she definitely did. Melissa and Chris is there something you would like to tell us?
Melissa: I am sixteen weeks pregnant today.
Grant: No way.
Chris: Yep.
     We all went in for a group hug and then we finished the fittings and went home.
