Chapter 41

Anna's POV

     I stepped outside and was met by Jack.

Jack: You look beautiful.

Anna: Thanks.

     He leaned in and kissed me on the lips.

Anna: I have to go to hair and makeup, but I will find you before the end of the night.

Jack: I brought your jacket.

Anna: I love you.

     I put my jacket on and went to hair and makeup to get ready.

Lily: I'm sorry that we had to pull you from your party, but this should be easy.

Anna: It's fine.

     They finished my hair and makeup and then I went to get my suit on. I went get my harnesses and then ran to set.

Anna: I'm here. 

Melissa: You are ten minutes early.

Anna: I'm what?

Chris: Are you okay.

Anna: Yeah I'm fine probably dehydrated.

Melissa: Sit down and I will get you a cookie and a water bottle.

Anna: Okay.

     They got me some food and water then they hooked me up to the harnesses. I was waiting to test my harnesses the whole school came from the building. My whole eighth grade class came from the building, and then they told me that they were ready to test the wires. I tested them and we shot the scene before we took a break. They were unbuckling me from my harnesses when Jack came over.

Jack: I brought some ice cream to share with you.

Anna: I love you, but I have to do something first.

Jack: I will be at the chairs.

     I kissed him on the lips and then went over to Ms. Boom.

Anna: I didn't know you were going to bring the whole school.

Ms. Boom: We wanted to see you do your stuff.

Molly: Plus seeing Calan's face was priceless. Can we get a picture with you.

Anna: Yeah.

     Molly, Callie, Kelly, and I all took a picture with me in my suit and then I said hi to a couple other friends. I was about to walk away when Calan grabbed my arm.

Anna: Let me go.

Calan: I wanted to tell you that I still love you.

Anna: That is a funny joke.

Calan: Let me show you that I can. Give me another chance I promise you I won't let you down.

Anna: I said let me go!

     I was about to storm off when he pulled me closer kissing me. I pushed him away and then I heard someone.

Jack: Anna how could you do this.

Anna: Jack listen. Jack please.

    The tears flew down as I say him walk away from me. I just wanted to hide in a ball, but I couldn't so instead I ran away crying. I ran after him and started to pound on his trailer door.

Anna: Jack please open up. I didn't kiss him he kissed me!

     I didn't hear anything from the other side so I opened the door. He was sitting on the couch when I found him.

Jack: Go away Anna.

Anna: No. I didn't cheat on you I would never cheat on you especially with him. His name is Calan and he was my ex. He is the one who killed Jace. I'm sorry that you thought I cheated on you, but I would never.

Maddie: Anna they need you on set.

Anna: Thanks Maddie. I'm going to give you some space and when you are ready you can text me.

     I left him in the trailer and went to finish shooting my scenes. When I was about to leave I heard a knock on my trailer door. My dad opened the door and then I heard his voice.

Anna: Dad you can let him in.

    My dad and mom left and that left me with Jack.

Jack: I'm sorry that I thought you cheated. I should have heard you out instead.

Anna: It's okay.

    I moved closer to him and kissed him. I left that night on good terms with my boyfriend and I had a good time at prom.
