Chapter 28

Chris's POV

     Today I am going to film Ridiculousness. The episode will air on Monday and it is currently Saturday. I got up and did my normal morning routine starting with brushing my teeth. I do not have to be on set until 3 in the afternoon so I have some time for my girls this morning. I kissed Melissa on the forehead and went to start breakfast for all my girls. I made pancakes and bacon before Alexa brought Avery down.

Chris: Morning beautiful's.

Avery: Morning daddy.

Alexa: What are we eating?

Chris: Pancakes and bacon. Where are your sisters?

Avery: Ashton is sleeping and Anna is talking to her boyfriend.

Chris: Who is her boyfriend?

Alexa: Jack duh.

Chris: Alexa do you want to cut the fruit?

Alexa: Sure.

     Avery went over to the TV and brought me the remote to turn on her cartoons. She sat on the couch and watched her shows while we finished breakfast. While we were cooking Anna and Ashton joined us and set the table outside for breakfast. We were about to eat when I ran up stairs to wake up Melissa.

Chris: Babe wake up.

Melissa: I don't want to.

Chris: I made pancakes.

     She shot out of bed and was ready to eat breakfast. The rest of our morning and early afternoon was normal and then I left to head to the studio. When I got there I went into hair and makeup and got changed into my outfit for the show. He was doing in introduction and then brought me out.

Rob: Okay Chris how are you?

Chris: I'm good.

Rob: Now you have kids. 

Chris: Yeah 4.

Rob: I don't know how you do it? I have 2 kids and it is hard.

Chris: Yeah raising humans is hard.

Rob: I think we have a picture let's put it up. Okay here is the family.

Chris: Yeah.

Rob: Okay so this is obviously you and your wife Melissa, but who are they.

Chris: Alexa, Ashton, Anna, and Avery.

Steelo: They all have names that start with A?

Chris: Yes.

Rob: Don't you get them messed up? I have two kids, they are different genders and I still get them mixed up.

Chris: Avery is easy because she is younger, but the other three are hard to not get messed up.

Rob: Now I'm sure you have had some moments during parenting that you are not proud of and that inspired our next category.

     The show ended and I got home around nine at night. Everyone was asleep and I got ready for bed and went to sleep too.

TIME SKIP TO WEDNESDAY

Anna's POV

     I got up around 5:30 and started to get ready to get on set. Today was my first day filming other that the little bit we did for the trailer. Dad and I left the house and got to set ten minutes before I had to go to hair and makeup. Since mom got the diagnosis from her doctor she is not coming till the babies are born. That means that I will be carrying most of the weight on Supergirl until she is back. My dad is filming ahead so he will be working long hours as well. I got called to hair and makeup and sat in there with Chyler for an hour.

Chyler: Caity told me you went on a date with Jack.

Amber: You went on a date with Jack?

Anna: No I went to get ice cream with a friend.

Chyler: That is not what I heard.

Amber: What happened?

Anna: We got ice cream and talked on a bench near the lake at the park.

Chyler: And then he walked you home and your foreheads were touching and you guys were holding hands.

Anna: We were not. We are just friends.

Amber: Okay when he takes you to his prom I get to do your hair and makeup.

Anna: Not going to happen. 

Amber: Get out of here go to costume both of you.

Anna: Thanks Amber.

     I walked to the costume department with Chyler and got in my suit and then we went to set. I shot a scene with Chyler, dad, and David. I did green-screen the second half of the day and I was exhausted bye the time I got home.

Melissa: How was your first day?

Anna: Amazing, but exhausting.

Melissa: Go take a shower dinner will be ready when you are done.

Anna: Okay. 

     I got a text from Jack after I got out of the shower and he asked me how my first day was. I texted him back and then we texted all night long before bed. His last text to me was Goodnight beautiful and that put a smile on my face before bed.
