Chapter 13

Melissa's POV

I am now five months pregnant and we are getting to the nursery. Chris and I decided to find out the genders, but we haven't told anyone because we want to surprise the girls. We have been filming season five for two weeks and have some fun stuff to tell the fans. I heard rumors that Blake will be there. I hope he stays away and just doesn't talk to anyone from the Supergirl cast. We leave in a few hours to go to ComiCon and I hope the flight is fine too. Chris's mom and mine both fly in later to ComiCon and we will pick them up from the airport and then take them back to the hotel.

Chris: What's up? You seem in your thoughts today.

Melissa: I'm fine.

Chris: Your crinkle didn't need to tell me that was a lie I could already tell.

Melissa: I'm worried.

Chris: about?

Melissa: Blake is supposed to be there. I worry about the girls and our moms.

Chris: It will be fine. You and the girls will be fine. The twins will be fine too.

Melissa: Okay. We have two hours until we have to leave for the airport. Tag Team.

Chris: I will get Avery dressed.

Melissa: I will get the big girls moving then get ready.

Chris: When your done I will check on the girls and get ready

Melissa: The big girls can get the dogs ready for the dog sitter.

Chris: Anna can get Izzy ready to go then head out.

Melissa: It's a plan.

For the next hour we get ready and all get in the car to start driving to the airport. I wore a loose top so I could hide my baby bump. I am five months along, but I like to keep them protected. We pulled up to the airport and paparazzi was there. Screaming and flashing lights everywhere.

Avery: Mommy can you carry me?

Melissa: I am sorry hunny I can't, but you can hold my hand.

Avery: No I do not want to hold your hand.

Chris: I can carry you sweetie.

Avery: Yay.

Melissa: Sunglasses everybody.

Anna: Got it mom.

Melissa: Perfect.

Chris: Your mom and I will get out first and get the luggage then we will do Alexa, Ashton, Anna, and Avery you will get out last.

Melissa: Ready?

Chris: This is our deciding moment in the media you know right.

Melissa: Yep. Wish us luck girls.

We step out of the car and the lights and flashing intensifies. We meet the pilots and get all the luggage on the plane. The I open the door and Alexa gets out first. She gets on the plane and is safe before we get Ashton out. She also gets on the plane safe and is situated when the situation escalates. The paparazzi gets closer and we know they think Anna is coming out next. I open the door and Chris and I start talking.

Melissa: The Paparazzi isn't going to hold much longer.

Chris: I know. I think we have to do both and hope we can make it in enough time.

Melissa: I agree. Okay girls we are going to do both of you and get on that plane fast.

Anna: Walk fast got it.

Melissa: Sunglasses on.

Avery: I'm scared.

Chris: Don't be scared I will protect you promise.

Avery: Okay walk fast dad.

Chris: Close your eyes and you won't even notice when it is done.

Melissa: You ready Anna?

Anna: Ready as I'll ever be.

Chris's POV

Chris: Let's go.

I grab Avery out of her carseat and pick her up. She closes her eyes and buries her head in my neck and I head over to the other side of the car and grab Mel's hand

Chris: You good?

Melissa: Yeah I'm good, but I think the twins can feel that I am stressed out. They are really moving.

I move in and kiss her and that is all the reassuring she needs. We get asked questions, but we finally make it on to the plane and take off.
