Chapter 32

ONE MONTH SINCE THE TWINS BIRTH

Anna's POV

     The babies are a month old today and that is good, but I have a date with Jack.

Anna: Hey dad I'm heading out.

Chris: Where are you going?

Anna: I am going to hang out with Jack.

Chris: Be back before dinner.

Anna: Bye love you.

     I had on some ripped jeans and a t-shirt with a cardigan over the top. Jack still hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet, but we are both ready for it.

Jack: Hey beautiful.

Anna: Hey. We have till dinner before I have to be home.

Jack: We should make the most out of it.

Anna: I was thinking our usual.

Jack: Yes.

     We walked to the park and got some ice cream and then he took me to our bench.

Jack: So I wanted to ask you something.

Anna: Shoot.

Jack: We have been together for about a month and I wanted to make it official. Anna Wood will you be my girlfriend?

Anna: Yes.

     We kissed and then we had the rest of our date. Towards the end of the date it was around 8 at night. I asked mom if I could stay out longer and she said yes. We were walking around the park holding hands he kissed my forehead and we saw a flash.

Jack: Was that a flash?

Anna: Yeah, but I don't care if they see us.

     I grabbed his head and pulled him in for a kiss. The flashes continued, but we didn't care. We were together and that was all that mattered. We were still walking home when our phones started blowing up.

Jack: We are all over instagram.

Anna: I need to get home.

Jack: Why?

Anna: I haven't told my parents about us yet.

Jack: Okay let's get you home.

     He walked me home the rest of the way and kissed me before he left. I took a deep breath and walked through the door. My parents might of not seen it yet and that would be the best thing in the world. I walked into the kitchen and was met by a very upset mother and father.

Anna: I'm assuming you saw.

Chris: Why didn't you tell us you were seeing Jack.

Anna: We just got together today and I was coming home to tell you guys.

Melissa: Just tell us next time. Now go to bed and take a shower first.

     I made my way up to my room and went to bed with a goodnight text from Jack.

Melissa's POV

     I woke up to the babies crying  because they were hungry. I got Chris up and we went to get the babies from the nursery and made our way downstairs to warm up some bottles for their morning feed. 

Chris: We should go get coffee.

Melissa: We have to wake the girls up if we do that.

Chris: The girls are perfectly capable to take care of them selves for an hour tops.

Melissa: Okay I will go get the babies ready.

     The twins were only one month old, but you could tell they were identical. It was September and was chilly, but not that bad outside. I put the girls in matching outfits with their matching coats with their matching hats. The hats had puff balls on top that were a very light pink. I brought them into our room and put them on the bed in our room so I could get ready. Chris was dressed pretty warm and put on his beanie for outside. 

Chris: I will go grab the wraps and write a note for the girls incase they wake up.

     I changed into some leggings and a crewneck that had the Supergirl crest on it. Chris brought back the carriers mine was white and Chris's was grey. I had Lincoln and Chris had Phoenix on his chest and we were almost out the door when I grabbed the diaper bag and put it on my back then we walked to go to the coffee shop.

Melissa: I got my first script and it was the one for our crossover this year.

Chris: I go back on Monday.

Melissa: I know. I have to get back in shape if I want to be able to wear the wires again.

Chris: So we are filming in Florida for the first part of the crossover and we have to decide if we are taking the whole team.

Melissa: Well we have to take three of them, but we are filming the whole time we won't have any time for the girls.

Chris: Your right so we are not taking the girls with us.

Melissa: I will call my mom and see if she could watch the girls.

Chris: The babies will be three months by then.

Melissa: I can't believe they are already a month.

     We were at the coffee shop and ordered our usual. We could tell there were some fans in the coffee shop because they kept staring at us. We got our coffee and headed home hand-in-hand. We saw a few flashes and knew the paparazzi found us. We made sure the babies were well covered and continued to walk back to our house. When we got back to the house I had some texts from LA asking me for help telling everyone about their kid. I told her she could come over later and we could talk about it.

Melissa: Hey LA and Grant are coming over later.

Chris: Okay.
