Chapter 40

Anna's POV

     Today is Saturday and we have a few more days on set. I shot scenes this morning and into the afternoon, but was done around three. We were shooting a prom scene soon for Supergirl so they were letting me borrow a dress for tonight. It was a pretty gown that was floor length and had a small split on the right side. I went to hair and makeup because they were doing my hair and makeup for tonight. 

Alex: Okay let's get you all glammed up.

Anna: Don't go crazy.

Alex: No promises. So I heard that you and Jack snook out of the cast dinner early.

Anna: And?

Alex: Come on you have to give us more than that.

Anna: Not going to happen. So what are you doing?

Alex: I was thinking about a low braided bun and pulling some pieces out in the front. Lily is going to do your makeup.

Lily: I was thinking a warm, romantic look for your makeup and it will match perfect with your pink dress.

Anna: Okay.

    Alex did my hair and then Lily did my makeup.

Lily: Okay you are all done and you look beautiful.

Anna: Thanks guys. 

     I had a few minutes before I had to get ready so I went to my trailer. When the time had passed I ate some food and then went to put on my dress.

Sam: Anna you are here I am so excited for you to see the dress.

Anna: I am excited to see it.

Sam: Close your eyes I will go grab it.

     I closed my eyes and waited for her to say I could open them. When I did open them I was stunned. It was a beautiful baby pink satin dress. It had a beaded belt and matching shoes that were also beaded. When she turned it around the back was also stunning. It laced up and had thin spaghetti straps attached to the front. The slit in the front went to my knee and it was magnificent.

Sam: Do you like it?

Anna: It is beautiful.

Sam: We are waiting on one more person before we can put this on you.

Melissa: Hey I'm here.

Anna: I didn't know you were coming.

Melissa: I couldn't miss your first prom so of course I am here.

     Sam gave my mom the dress and left after that.

Melissa: Okay let's get you in this dress.

     She gave it to me and I slipped it on before having her tie it. She laced it up and then turned me around. I was stunned. It was stunning on me.

Melissa: Okay I have the finishing pieces.

     She handed me a box and told me to open it. When I did I was stunned again.

Melissa: My mom gave them to me when I was younger and I wanted to pass them on to you.

     They were earrings and a matching bracelet. I put them on and the look was complete.

Melissa: You look beautiful.

Anna: Thanks.

     I was busy starring at my self in the mirror when my father walked in.

Chris: You look beautiful Anna.

Anna: Thanks dad.

Chris: So you need to get going.

Anna: Are you driving me?

Chris: Yeah. Come on let's go.

     We left set and got to the school.

Chris: Call when you want us to pick you up.

Anna: Okay.

     I grabbed my phone out of my purse and walked to the front to find Molly and some of my other friends.

Molly: Anna you made it.

Anna: Yeah luckily I didn't have to shoot any scenes this evening.

Molly: This is Lily, Callie, and Kelly.

Anna: Hi.

Callie: So are you really on a TV show?

Anna: Yeah.

Kelly: That must be fun.

Anna: Tiring, but fun.

Molly: Come on let's go take photos.

     We were next in line when some boys got in line behind us.

Calan: Hello beautiful.

     I turned around and was met bye the one face I didn't want to see.

Anna: Hello Calan.

Calan: I didn't know you were back in Florida. Did Hollywood reject you?

Anna: No I came back to shoot for my TV show.

Calan: I bet no one knows the show.

Anna: No I think you do.

Calan: Did you and your sisters get adopted?

Anna: Yeah we live in Vancouver.

Calan: So what TV show are you on anyways?

Anna: Supergirl. 

Calan: That is a funny joke.

Anna: Not a joke.

Calan: We will see. So are sad and alone still?

Anna: Boyfriend.

Calan: I don't believe you on both accounts.

Anna: I don't need to make you believe. Anyways have fun.

     We got pictures done and then entered the party.

Anna: I'm gonna grab a drink I will meet you at table.

Molly: Can you grab me one?

Anna: Sure.

     I was enjoying my night when I got a text from the producer.

Producer: Anna we have to shoot a scene at the school tonight I need you there in thirty minutes.

     I replied with I will be there and ducked out for the remaining minutes of my night. I went to see Ms. Boom. I knocked on her door and she told me to come in.

Ms. Boom: Anna I saw you made it.

Anna: Yeah I wanted to thank you for giving me a ticket for tonight.

Ms. Boom: Did you have fun?

Anna: Yeah it was nice to reconnect with some of my friends. I have to shoot a scene in a few, but I wanted to say goodbye.

Ms. Boom: Where are you shooting?

Anna: We have a last minute fight scene to shoot they are setting it up outside right now. 

Ms. Boom: Do you mind if we watch?

Anna: No. I have to go thank you for everything.

     I went outside and was met with the whole CW team.
