Chapter 14

Melissa's POV

The plane ride was good Avery was a little shaken at first, but she adjusted pretty quickly. I have been keeping up with the media and Blake is for sure gonna be there. I am worried about the girls, they won't always be near Chris and I all weekend. I decided to take a nap and woke up just as the plane landed. There was more paparazzi than when we got on and I new this was going to be fun.

Chris: Let me get off first and grab our moms then I will get you guys.

Melissa: I am coming with you.

Chris: No you are not.

Melissa: Hey Avery can you put my jacket in the backpack. Let's go.

Chris: Why did you take off your jacket?

Melissa: It's hot out and I don't care if they get a picture of my belly.

Chris: Be careful and do not leave my side.

Chris and I got off the plane and the paparazzi went crazy. We headed into the airport and met our moms at the door.

Melissa: Mom how are you?

Julie: I'm good how are you hunny. You look amazing.

Melissa: I'm good thanks for coming.

Chris's Mom: No problem. Now where are our grandchildren.

Julie: Yes I want to meet them.

Melissa: Let's go get them.

Chris's POV

We took them out to the plane and of course the paparazzi was happy about that. The flashing was blinding.

Chris: Please no flashes guys. Thank You.

Melissa: Ready?

Chris: Yep. Hey moms why don't you stay out here we will bring them out.

Julie: You sure you want us to stay out here? If we are in the plane there will be less paparazzi.

Melissa: Mom it will be fine. Just wait out here.

Melissa and I headed up the stairs to the plane and talked to the girls. We are going to do two girls at a time. Let's start with Avery and Ashton.

Melissa: Okay, Avery and Ashton you are first. If you guys feel uncomfortable say something and we will address it.

Chris: Alright Avery let me pick you up and Ashton stay by your mom.

Ashton: I got it dad. Stay by mom and don't talk to the paparazzi.

Melissa: You guys stay put got it.

Anna and Alexa: Got it.

Chris: Alright lets go.

We all got out of the plane and headed over to our parents.

Chris: Mom, Julie this is Avery and Ashton.

Julie: Hi guys I am your grandma.

Chris's Mom: And I am Mimi.

Ashton: Hi. Avery is a little scared, but she will warm up.

Julie: We brought you guys these.

Chris's Mom: They are teddy bears, but they are from Florida.

Ashton: Cool thanks.

Chris: I am going to go grab Alexa and Anna.

Melissa: Okay thanks.

I walked to the plane and grabbed Anna and Alexa.

Anna: Hi I'm Anna and this is Alexa.

Chris's Mom: I am Mimi.

Julie: I am Grandma.

Chris: I will take the girls and get them in car. Then I will thank the pilots.

Melissa: Thank you.

Chris and the girls left and I finally got to talk to our moms about the twins.

Melissa: Chris and I need your help.

Julie: With what?

Melissa: We know the gender of the babies, but we want to surprise the girls, and this is where you come in.

Chris's Mom: What do you need us to do.

Melissa: My ConiCon dress is pink and Chris's outfit is blue. We want you guys to say something about the colors and ask us if it means anything. Then we will open up the other room and it will be filled with pink and blue treats and everything we can find. Confetti will go off and all the casts of the Arrowverse shows will be there. Then the girls will pop balloons and those will reveal the genders.
