Melissa's POV

I woke up the next morning and got the girls up and to school. We got back to the house and Anna was still asleep. Chris and I got changed and went to paint the babies nursery. We got done with the very light pink color on the walls and let it dry. Anna got up about half way through us painting and started her day from there.

Melissa: Anna we have a ultrasound and we have to leave now you are going to be okay right.

Anna: Yes I will be okay.

Chris: Okay we have to go.

Anna: Bye have fun.

We were off to the doctors appointment and got pulled back almost right away. They did the normal things including checking my weight and running a few labs. The ultrasound tech did the ultrasound and told us everything looked okay and that they were measuring a little on the low side. She told us it was not to much to worry about and then we had our visit with my doctor.

Dr. Ross: Okay Melissa I am seeing some weird things with your test results. It is nothing to worry about since you are pregnant with twins, but I want to keep a close eye on you.

Melissa: Is everything going to be okay with the girls.

Dr. Ross: I want to keep a close eye on the twins, but we might have to have an early delivery.

Chris: What are the risks with early delivery?

Dr. Ross: Twins are typically born between 34 and 38 weeks, but with you it will probably happen between 32 and 36 weeks.

Melissa: Are they going to be okay if they come at 32 weeks.

Dr. Ross: They might have to stay a few days in the NICU, but there is a good chance that they will make it. Until then I want you to take it easy.

Melissa: Okay.

We made our way to the car after our hospital visit and sat in silence.

Melissa: I'm scared.

Chris: I know me too, but this just means that our time table just got shorter.

Melissa: Okay well we have to get home and I need to order the last few things for the babies.

We got home and I started working on shopping for the babies.

Chris's POV

I grabbed Anna and we went into the nursery and started put the hanging cribs together.

Anna: Why are we doing this now.

Chris: Because our time table got shorter.

We drilled the cribs into the ceiling and made sure they were stable.

Melissa: Anna why don't you go wait downstairs for your sisters I can help your father.

Chris: Melissa will you at least sit down.

Melissa: I am going. Can we put the rocking chair together next.

Chris: Absolutely.

I grabbed the box and we put the chair and dresser together. We put out the side tables and then finished for the day.

Chris: I have to go to the studio tomorrow. Will you be okay?

Melissa: I will be fine, but can you help me down the stairs?

Chris: Come on.

I took Melissa down stairs and the rest of our night was smooth from there.

Melissa's POV

Chris dropped off the girls at school and then went into the studio to do some interviews.

Melissa: Hey Anna do you want to help me with the carseats?

Anna: Sure. Where are carseats?

Melissa: In the nursery.

We each opened one box and built them at the same time. When they were done we grabbed the slip covers that go over them and put them on. After we were done with the carseats we did the dresser and closet. Then we went downstairs to watch some TV.

Chris's POV

I just got a call from my agent and they told me that they wanted me to be on the show Ridiculousness. I told them yes and put that on my schedule for this weekend. I had to tell Mel this tonight and get ready for the show on Saturday. We were getting ready for bed and then I told her.

Chris: I got a call from my agent earlier today and she asked me if I wanted to be on Ridiculousness.

Melissa: That's great. When is it?

Chris: This weekend. I can tell them no.

Melissa: Why would you do that? You are going to go on the show.

Chris: Okay let's go to bed.

I went to bed that night with my beautiful wife and the mother of my children in my arms. Even though we got bad news about Melissa's pregnancy I was content with knowing that she was in my arms and safe.
