Chapter 51

Chris's POV

The make up artists finished my hair and makeup just a few minutes ago and I went to find my suit of the wracks. Sam handed me my suit and then told me to go change. I changed into the suit and then went back where a bunch of the other guys were getting looked over as well. They told me that I was good to go and that they would give me cufflinks later on. I was talking to Tyler outside when they girls came out and following the camera crew. This is the first time that I have seen Melissa when she was fully dressed up and she looked stunning. I walked towards her and grabbed her hips starring directly into her eyes.

Chris: You look amazing.

Melissa: You look very handsome yourself.

She quickly fixed my bowtie and then we walked to the part of the backyard that they had set up for the photos. They slowly positioned us together in a huge group photo. When we were all set the makeup department brought out paperboys filled with velvet boxes. The girls got one size box and the boys got a different size box. We were told we couldn't open them until Anna and Jack came downstairs. Chris texted her and told her to come downstairs with Jack right away so he could open his gift. They were outside in minutes and given their boxes right away. We were told to open them on the count of three. The whole group counted to three and then opened the boxes. What was inside shocked me. They were beautiful golden earrings that were in the shape of the Supergirl emblem. I looked over at Chris's box and in side were cuff links that were golden and in the shape of the Valor emblem. I looked around and everyone was shocked and putting there respective items on. I picked the two earrings out of the box and put them in. When I was finished I helped Chris clip his cuff links in and then we all took the rest of the pictures. When we got done with pictures Chris made sure that Jack left and then we went to the party with the rest of the CW casts. We were paired together because we play Mon-el and Kara, but lucky for us we are also married in real life. When we got back from the after party I was exhausted and ready for bed. Chris and I fell asleep around 3 in the morning and we got to sleep till about 6:45 when the babies got up. I heard the first cry come from Phoenix and then the second earth shattering scream come from Lincoln. Lucky for us I pre-made some bottles last night because I figured this was how the morning was going to go. I made Chris go downstairs and get the bottles while I got the screaming babies from their room. I sleepy made my way back to the master and then Chris came through the door shirtless with two white bottles in his hands. I laughed at him and he looked at me confused.

Chris: What are you laughing at?

Melissa: You look very cute with bottles in your hands.

Chris: Whatever.

He sat on the bed with me and we quickly fed and burped two babies. We were doing some morning playing when we were joined around eight-thirty by a very bubbly blond-haired blue eyed girl. She jumped in bed and laid down between us. I watched as Chris asked her how she slept and what she wanted for breakfast. I was drinking hot coffee that I had made minutes earlier and then snuggling our three youngest. Chris got up with all the girls and took them down stairs to make biscuits and gravy. He told me to take a shower and take my time while he took care of the babies that morning. I got to drink my morning coffee in quiet and lay in bed for a while before any kids needed me. I was almost done drinking my coffee when Anna entered my room with paper in her hands.

Melissa: Good morning.

Anna: Good morning. Is dad around?

Melissa: He is downstairs with your younger sisters making breakfast.

Anna: Perfect. So yesterday the producers pulled me into a room, sat me down, and gave me this.

She handed me the paper and I took a look at it. On the top of the what I assumed to be a contract read " The Future Five". I looked at her in the eyes and she was smiling towards me.

Anna: It's a new show that they want to run and they want me to be the lead.

Melissa: I'm so proud of you.

Anna: But, I haven't signed it because I want to read it over with you guys.

Melissa: Do you want to do it?

Anna: Yeah.

Melissa: Then lets go take this downstairs and talk to your father. We will get you a pen after that.

Anna: Okay.
